World leaders will be talking (behind the scenes) about Donald Trump (Video)
CNN ^ | March 27, 2016 | John King

Washington (CNN)Ben Carson's curious campaign return, tensions between Camps Cruz and Kasich, the California dreams of the 2016 hopefuls and two new twists on the Trump effect. It's all part of our "Inside Politics" forecast, with tomorrow's headlines today.

1) Let's talk nuclear security -- and Trump! President Obama plays host in the coming days to a summit dealing with the weighty issue of nuclear security. A second big issue -- terrorism -- is also a guaranteed addition to the conversation because of last week's attacks in Brussels.

But there is also an unofficial agenda item: Donald Trump. The presidential campaign is generating massive global media attention because of Trump and his many provocative policy proposals. It is a sure bet that world leaders will be gossiping about the U.S. campaign as they move from meeting to meeting and have private conversations -- including with the sitting president. Margaret Talev of Bloomberg News set the stage:

"It's not something probably that President Obama or many of these leaders want to do in front of the mics, but it's just a subject of endless fascination and speculation. Is he going to get the nomination? Could he possibly win? What would it mean for foreign policy? That would be a big off-mic discussion."

Just watched MSNBC...They had Kerry and a bunch of talking heads in Europe saying how worried Europeans are about Trump’s Nato proposals. They are afraid they will have to pay more for their own security.

In the same set, MSNBC said that European Nato countries are supposed to contribute 2% of GDP; a level they have never met. In fact their contributions have dropped by 14%.

Trump is right ... Why should a German senior citizen have a worry free life, while we have senior citizens here that can’t afford prescription drugs and live month to month in a mobile home that’s not worth the price of a 30 year old rusted pick-up.

You mean America won’t pay for us to let terrorists into Europe anymore? Heresy.

“... It is a sure bet that world leaders will be gossiping about the U.S. .....”

To a degree they have always talked down their nose about American diplomats not being the better-than-thou type, not having the pedigree European and others have. But boy o boy, have they had a field day with Obama and his gay and poorly educated for the job people. I’ll bet they joke about Obama everyday over there. I also believe they will quickly learn to respect Trump.

Make Europe pay for their own defense.

It’s been more than enough lifetimes for Europe to get back on its feet from WW II.

Seriously.

The next president is probably going to have to deal with a massive attack on the US in his first months in office. Everything Obama has been doing is in preparation for that and I don't think it's going to be avoidable.

We're going to need someone strong like Trump who can think and act quickly to deal with what's going to happen.

I fully expect the stock market to be boobie-trapped as well.

All that QE inflation is pent up in the stock market bubble, and it has to pop sometime.

Trump will shatter the unfair trade imports vs exports and our military protection where we foot the entire bill. Also, they worry that their U.S. aid will get cut off even when they thumb their nose at us. Here are the top countries that hate the U.S. the most and the aid they receive:
