At another FR post one comment was that the mistress thing was plotted several weeks ago by Rubio, but that when he lost Florida it was decided not to go forward with it. Not clear how it came out, but consensus was that Trump was not original source, nor promoter of the rumor.

Leaving the 500K money transfer being investigated by the FEC aside for the moment, how does the following help Cruz ? Do you realize how many women would despise him for doing something like this to Heidi and then lying about it ?

Ted Cruz explained to the website that his wife had experienced a “bout of depression” while making a transition at her high-pressure job at Goldman Sachs. However, given the new set of allegations, it is being speculated that the 2005 incident was Heidi’s reaction to finding out about at least one affair.

UPDATE: Sources indicate the teacher affair happened when Cruz was solicitor general from 2003-2008.

I know it is frustrating. There is so little strong evidence that Cruz did have these extra marital affairs. This will take good detective work to find the truth. So far, everyone is thinking about Easter and would not read the information even if it is cold hard facts. We may see more come out the week ahead. Get ready for popcorn and coke.
