Its simple why now. The hope was they could control Cruz thru the campaign and block Trumps nomination but they did the math and know that Cruz cannot win the nomination, so this plan was hatched by the GOPe to take out Trump with the anti-woman bully theme.
Problem is it is backfiring.
If you do not understand that the ACU has been carrying the Conservative banner for decades, then there is little use communicating with you.
Trump being a good man does not make Cruz a bad man.

I’m not saying Cruz is a giant, but there is a lesson therein.
They can treat TDS with drugs now.
Because they are using easy to fake criteria. When examined closely there is nothing there not trained in Harvard law school to win a case with a presentation. Nothing of actual substance and many red flags.
Actually, that 100% rating is made up of something called his “Senate Roll Call Votes.”
Please read about those things called “Senate Roll Call Votes.” You may have missed that part of the 9th grade civics class.
His 100% ACU rating is driven entirely by how he actually voted on matters that concern Conservatives.
You can’t fake that.
Yes you can with the way they make up stuff to vote on for image knowing it will not pass.
It’s useless to point out the obvious to you.... so one question:
What is Mr. Trump’s voting record?
Please understand... I am a Trump supporter, but we will need the Cruz voters in November if we are to win the General....
and that is ALL that counts.
Why pizz them off now?
For one Trump is an American for America and is not an ivy league lawyer like all the other ones you keep voting in but expecting to change.
Yes, that is what Trump SAYS he is.
Can you give me an example of ACTIONS, not just words?
For example, his outstanding military record, his support of only Conservative Republican candidates, his donations to Cuban freedom fighters, his donations to anti-Jihadist causes, his free weeks or weekends for wounded combat vets?
Oh, and I forgot, his large donations to buy bulletproof vests for the NYC police officers when all the crazy blacks and radicals started shooting at them?
