Does Trump have a 'woman problem'? [He is is losing the women's vote 68-32]

There is contradictory evidence with regards to Donald Trump's standing with women and whether or not he has a serious problem with females going into the November election.

On the one hand, polls show huge numbers of women who say they can't see themselves supporting the candidate. On the other hand, exit polls from several primaries actually show Trump doing better with women than any other GOP candidate.

Indeed, Trump may not have a big problem with Republican women. But the general election may be a different story.

The Hill:

A new CNN poll released Thursday, taken before the spat with rival Ted Cruz over his wife, found that 73 percent of registered female voters in the United States had an unfavorable view of Trump. That’s in line with a Reuters poll from last week that found more than half of American women hold a “very unfavorable” view of the billionaire.

“That gives him a huge number of voters he has to make up from somewhere,” said American University political science professor Karen O’Connor. “And I don’t know where they will come from.”

Opposition to Trump among women also extends to the GOP. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll found that 47 percent of Republican women could not see themselves supporting Trump, a number significantly higher than for any other GOP candidate.

Trump will do just fine with women.

But just to be on the safe side, he should probably run, with Sarah Palin as his running mate.

:D

There's a reason the country went to hell after women got the right to vote.

They want to keep posting to scare you into voting for Cruz.

And now to try to distract you from his new problems at the same time.

Pretty desperate Cruzers.

This has nothing to do with Cruz.

Trump has real problems in the general election. Maybe he’ll get lucky and Hillary will get indicted before the election

Lies, How can Trump be beating Cruz by over 2,000,000 votes losing the women vote who is 53% of the voters.

Same people said Reagan would get killed by Jimmy Carter

FLASHBACK: Reagan Trailed Carter 58% to 33% in March 1980

well, as a woman, I feel Trump is an idiot when he continuously raises issues of unimportance which involve women.

what is this nonsense about Heidi Cruz all about? Yes, I know that an old photo of Melania Trump from her modeling days had been resurrected and is playing in ads against Trump. But, most people will see it an yawn. Trump would be better to ignore it - or he could casually say, “Yes, my wife was a model and she is indeed a beautiful woman.” AMEN.

He should not bring in Heidi Cruz and belittle her. Especially about her looks. Heidi is a nice looking woman. When Donald talks about her looks as though Heidi is ugly - that does make women angry. Donald seems to be obsessed with looks. He is a vain man. Grow up Donald.

Again, if he is the nominee, I would like to be able to vote for him. Heaven knows that I could never vote for Hillary. So, please Donald enough!!! Grow up.

President Romney? Yes, he did win big without the women vote.

Pretty desperate Cruzers.

You need to connect with reality and grasp the fact your candidate has real problems with the general electorate. This is unrelated to Cruz.

Thank you. Men who ridicule the looks of women (now both Carly Fiorina and Ted’s wife) aren’t scoring any points. It’s just adolescent stuff from which Trump cannot get away — almost a pathological need to insult women. Don’t delude yourself into thinking this isn’t an issue.

He might be doing okay with GOP women, but he will be trounced by Hillary if he keeps this up.

Oh, I looked at the NBC site. But I don’t see anything here except generic people were asked X.

The poll the other day saying Trump would lose to Killary also showed Cruz loosing but Kasich winning.

And yet Trump polled better in most of the individual categories than Cruz.

During the primaries on 3/15, 2/3 of republican voters in each state agreed with Trumps Muslim immigration suspension.

None of this polling makes sense.

It’s very simple. As far as the mid to right wing conservative women go, many like trump.

In a 2012 political census study, 24% of women are republican. That leaves 76% of women who are democrat (Hillary) and/or independent (typically democrat leaning/Hillary). The odds are inf fact, Stacked against trump when it comes to women.

On this website and/or in the strict republican setting of trump vs Cruz, there is a different story going on because you are focusing strictly on that 24% of woman.
