LBJ was not a popular man, as to what affect the daisy ad had? who knows, how could one collect data on the effect of one ad at that time?
now, I think it’s hard to see what effect 1 ad has
but I agree to your point, at least here in Chicago, the vote was going to go to LBJ because of the Kennedy Catholics, but many states were kind of tight if I remember right.
In any event, that ad played quite a bit here, I remember it quite well.
You don’t go nuclear and have millions of innocent people killed by radioactive fall out. Trump is moron and a snake oil salesman. Hethinks the whole world is one big reality show.
You’re pathetic. Going nuclear was never the question. Letting the enemy know our response was. Thanks. Loose lips and all.
If going nuclear against a group like ISIS was “never” the question, they he could have given a less asinine answer. Now this become a 30-second campaign ad that will blow up in this conman’s face.
Your guy lost. Lost playing down and dirty. What else could you ask for?
He made a joke of it at the debate, got the biggest laugh line of the night and you call that "going apesh"t"?
Good Grief!
I used to listen to beck before he lost his mind.
I think his answer was correct. CBS headline lies because saying you would never discuss your options is not the same as saying you are open to nukes.
So did he brand new foreign policy brain trust come up with this idea or did Trump come up with it on his own?
He was no Milquetoast.
“You dont go nuclear and have millions of innocent people killed by radioactive fall out.”
Drama Queen much? Well, you do. Trump never said nuke them, so stop the drama queen act. You look like an idiot.
“Can you imagine Cruz people like this in 1980?”
In 1980 Cruz would be more like Carter than Reagan. Reagan would scare little Cruz into his “safety zone”.
