Emory University president says students are scared and 'in pain' after someone wrote 'Trump 2016' in chalk on campus

- But some commentators have told the students to grow up
- Republican frontrunner won the Georgia primary earlier this month
The president of Emory University has spoken to demonstrators who said they were frightened after someone wrote 'Trump 2016' in chalk around campus.
Students at the Atlanta school, which has an enrollment of more than 14,000 claim their 'safe space' was violated when the messages appeared on sidewalks and buildings.
Jim Wagner, president of the Atlanta university, wrote Tuesday that the students viewed the messages as intimidation, and they voiced 'genuine concern and pain' as a result.
He acted after student government wrote to him and slammed the university's response, prompting a meeting that led to protests.
Now administrators want to track down those responsible for the controversial markings.
But some commentators on the university's student newspaper website told the students to grow up and accused them of being babies.

And so the lid of censorship is clamped down tight across the campus. These children will never hear what Trump is really saying. And if he ever tried to come tell them, they would shut it down. Hermetically sealed against outside opinion.

They are not making this up. I know it’s a college, but I’ll bet none of these “traumatized” students was homeschooled.

If true, Emory is another failed university re learning and has become a safe place for life’s losers.
If true, do not hire anyone who has been at Emory the past 4-6 years and on out in their dismal failures.
Rumor has it that “Trump 2016” tee shirts exist - imagine the calamity if some student got ahold of one and wore it to class! Just thinking about the possibility is probably a micro aggression!

From another article I saw on this, they actually allow the children students there to draw on the sidewalks with chalk, but they have “rules” which the school originally said were not broken.
If I was a parent paying $40-50K a year for my kids education and they were still playing with sidewalk chalk, that kid would be yanked out of there and marched directly to the nearest military recruiting office
