Didn’t you get a pretty good education?
“Whats wrong with the old textbooks? They worked for most of us.”
If they get brought home, then parents can see what is in them. If their materials are virtual, then they can be CHANGED INSTANTLY, preventing parents from see the actual text used (during the day) and replacing it with much more mild text (during non-school hours).
DO NOT LAUGH - maybe they aren’t doing that widespread yet, but they will.
The REAL QUESTION is whether any parent, EVEN ON THIS SITE, cares at all.
So far, other than Wintertime and Metmom, I’m forced to believe that the people here claiming to be HARD-CORE CONSERVATIVES could care less about what happens to their kids, once they walk through those public school doors.
I got a BETTER education when I went into college. It opened my eyes on what WASN’T/INCORRECTLY taught and I went back to fix that deficiency as past I could.
Worst ROI for my parents, IMO. Fact is, they’re STILL paying for that ‘FREE’ education; I’m paying for others (as I don’t have of my own).
