House Speaker Paul Ryan's spokeswoman says he is not interested in the Republican nomination for president.
The possibility of Ryan possibly securing the nomination at a contested Republican Party convention started when he said in a CNBC interview "there are a lot of people running for president. We'll see. Who knows?"
Former House Speaker John Boehner said Wednesday he would support Ryan if Republicans can't nominate any candidate at the convention.
But Ryan spokeswoman AshLee Strong tried to move quickly to quash any talk of Ryan becoming the nominee.

Former Speaker John Boehner endorsed Paul Ryan for president today – the day after Donald Trump won 4 of 5 states in Super Tuesday 2.0.
The elites don’t give a damn about the Republican base and this is more proof.
The Politico reported:Former Speaker John Boehner said Paul Ryan should be the Republican nominee for president if the party fails to choose a candidate on the first ballot.
“If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above,” Boehner said at the Futures Industry Association conference here. “They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”
They ALL want to be president.
Trump is saying there will be riots in his voters are disenfranchised. Of course, the media says that’s a threat of violence.
In the same article it was pointed out that a lot of pundits are saying the same thing but nothing about promoting violence on their part.

That’s not what upsets the UniParty applecart. But this is what upsets it: the GOPe selects one of their own to nominate and the Trump voters stay home in November. Suddenly, the House and Senate swings to the Dems and Hillary takes the White House. Now the UniParty doesn’t have the “gridlock” cover they need to act like they can’t do anything to help Americans while their cronies loot the nation.
The UniParty depends on the appearance of gridlock to make Progressivism work without causing open rebellion. It needs to promise that “next election” where everything will be made right again. If the voters stay home in November, then we have given up on the “next election”.
When is their primary?????

Well, we sure as hell aren’t interested in him either. The rule 40 b at the convention says you have to win the majority of at least 8 primaries. That knocks Kasich/bush/rubio/romney or one not in the race OUT!! It was their rule!! They wrote it to keep out insurgents!! NOW THEY ARE THE INSURGENTS. there is a conspiracy in the RINOS to panic CHANGE THAT RULE??? NOW?? You talk about riots. This madness. You can’t move the goal line with Trump on the TWO yard line. Ryan is a liar and a fraud. He is disqualified from anything. So, they will probably make him the nominee.
Once he makes everyone swear complete loyalty to him, he’ll graciously deign to accept it.

What is interesting me is that under rule 40b, Trump has won. He does not need 1237. no one else can be nominated but DJT. No one. If they change the rule it will be a singular assault on millions of voters!! As I calculate the winner take all states , he will reach 8 easy!! Nobody else will reach 8 ( the majority of delegates in that state.) I think this is really big?
