SALT LAKE CITY — The GOP presidential primary debate scheduled for Monday has been canceled, a representative for the Salt Palace Convention Center confirmed Wednesday.

The debate was canceled following Donald Trump’s announcement that he wouldn’t be attending and a subsequent announcement from the campaign strategist for Gov. John Kasich that he wouldn’t attend without Trump.

Trump wins again.

Thank God. I skipped the last one and wasn’t going to watch this one except for rumors that Romney was going to try to show up as a candidate.

The Left could not have better organized and formatted these carnival events called “debates” better than the GOP. The GOP is pretty much the friend of corrupt career politicians and the Left.

The GOP as we know it has got to go.

It’s not in Trump’s best interest to debate now.

So DT won’t debate his opposition in scheduled debates? Even Hillary debates Bernie, even though she has the democrat nomination, because she wants to sway his supporters in the general election. DT doesn’t have 50% of republicans supporting him. It’s a job interview. What is he afraid of?

Who would tune in to watch Kasick and the preacher man? Ratings killer? Even Kasick is smart enough to know without Trump there is no audience.

It’s over, time for all hands to join Trump on our crusade to defeat the Hildabeast. And we’ve got an uphill battle, so we need all hands.

Isn’t that the truth...he’s calling the shots for now, that’s for sure.

Guess without Trump there, Soros can save some money too.

The Republican Party can either embrace Trump or not embrace Trump, but one thing’s for sure...Trump will on the ballot in November and many many people from all walks of life will be voting for him.

Trump does best speaking one-on-one, but looks ignorant in a debate standing next to knowledgeable candidates. Debates hurt him, so he’s wise to duck out.

LOL!! The debate that never was.

Kasich chickened out rather than be humiliated by Cruz.

Yes, Cruz always talks to himself and for sure would not notice the absence of the others.

Agreed, I think we’ve had more than enough GOP debates this cycle.
