In Obama's early presidency, I used to think the same. However, it has become so clear that he is not an "idiot". He's a muslim/marxist who's every action is planned to minimize America's greatness due to his teachings. Still, your point about THIS black man is well taken. BTW, while a noble concept, "color blind society" is a pipe dream. I thought we were getting there until this "divisive-in-chief" with his words and actions has proven me wrong with latest riots he indirectly caused.
Cultures and races will always have their preferences and biases. The trick is to force them to accept their host culture/country or kick them out. We're seeing how well that's going in Germany, France, Sweden, et al with the muslim migration, not to mention our own invasion of illegals who create their same barrios from which they come.
Of course, the above will not happen with the politicians, media, education system teaching our youth that all cultures are equal. While the people of the tribes of the Amazon are equal in humanity, what have they done for the betterment of the World? Nothing. What have the so-called Palestinians done for the World? Nothing. Compare and contrast that to western civilization and all it's produced.
Right - like she did in Benghazi.

The two things are not mutually exclusive. We know he's an idiot because we've had a chance to look at his finances and little tiny bit of work history.
The man could not even manage his own finances. He was deep in debt, and if he hadn't won the election to the Illinois Senate with all it's corruption, kickbacks, payoffs and influence trading, he would be out on the street, and America would not now know the name of Barack Obama. He would be the nobody he so richly deserves to be.

I've made the same point myself numerous times. I occasionally say "The problem with Mexico is that it is full of Mexicans... If it was full of Americans, it would be a rich country."
My point is that the Mexican people do not have the proper attitude to make a success of their country. They are too socialistic minded, and too gimme gimme minded. Individuals work hard and prosper, but they are swimming upstream against the culture, which is very stratified and class conscious.
When we import third world peoples who will not give up their third world ideas, we merely weaken our more successful system in the direction of their unsuccessful system.

And the foundation of Western Civilization is built up Judeo-Christian principles. Without those principles, we would never have advanced either.
