Spot on. I think this is why Trump isn’t concerned, Cruz is out due to birth or lack of numbers. Doesn’t matter as long as we get the same result.

I am quite confident that the FR ownership is more than aware and is likely figuring out how to put a stop to it while they have a chance of saving this so valuable forum.

One side or the other is probably in for a ronpaulistas style smackdown.

I too have referred to Washington’s farewell address as a warning. Both for Obama, and now for Trump. Of course the party pendulum has been swinging pretty much from the start.

And so when both political establishments want to remove Trump, what does that say? It says neither of them believe he is truly of them. They are scared to death of him and so if his election means the downfall of these two political establishments that have destroyed this nation from within, then tell me, why is that a bad thing?

The one thing that I think Washington might look on us now and see is, that the separation of powers in general still works and limits the abuse that one person can bring. But obama sure has pushed it to the limit. As did FDR before him and many others.

I'm sorry, but is this guy talking about Cruz? Describes Trump to me.

Good point that Trump may be causing the two party system to crumble - or the “uniparty” as some call it. That would not be all bad.

Although as I posted in number 64, where the author seems to not be too concerned about ideology, then much of what Trump is tapping into (rightful anger and a want for change) might turn into mob rule.

At one of Trump's recent rallies, I think the one in Fayetteville, NC, Trump said that America has given him everything he has and now it is time for him to give back to the Americans what America has given him. He is not seeking office for fame or fortune, he is seeking the presidency in order to restore and preserve that which helped him build his wealth, not only the future of his children & grandchildren, but more importantly, for our children & grandchildren.

You are confusing change with restoration, rightful anger and a want for the restoration of the rule of law, these are the key foundational principles of Trump's campaign.

He says it at every rally, "we either have a nation or we don't. We either have a rule of law or we don't, we need the laws enforced and we need the borders protected."

Even Moses, one of the greatest leaders in all history, said "never follow a multitude to do evil!"

However, even his followers wouldn't listen while on the border of the "promised land" and had to turn back and wander aimlessly in the wilderness till that generation had time to die off (40 wasted years)!!!

History appears to be trying to repeat itself... Really sad.

Moses was a natural born Israelite, born of two Israelite parents. Ted Cruz, born of an alien father, is not a natural born US citizen, therefore, he is not qualified to be the leader of our nation.

Deu 17:15 you shall certainly set a sovereign over you whom YHWH your Elohim shall choose. Set a sovereign over you from among your brothers, you are not allowed to set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

14th Amendment, Section 1: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside.”

#1 Cruz was not born in the United States, therefore
#2 he was not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States at birth, because
#3 at the time of his birth, the place of his parents permanent residence was located in Canada

If one is not even willing to obey the law as it is written, how can we trust that person to enforce the rule of law as it is written?

Cruz has been tested by a hot fire when running against an equally uncivil smearer David DoWorst.
