Opportunist Ted Cruz: “Donald Trump is Responsible” For Organized Chicago Violence (video)…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | Mar 11 2016 | Conservative Treehouse

Posted on 03/11/2016 10:25:59 PM PST by WilliamIII

This is quite stunning even for a politician as low as Ted Cruz. Senator Cruz has a prime opportunity to highlight the intolerance of the left. Instead he choses to attack Donald Trump:

At a media availability in Chicago, Ted Cruz basically blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Yes, sis, he was there. He was dressed in all black. But the guy you said you thought was Ayers was in maroon, wasn’t he.?

Also heard there were some Beck protesters there too. Does anyone know if that is true?

I would say the same of you. Never thought Freepers would be supporting Soros and BLM for their precious Ted. He is such a disappointment, and it makes clear Trump is the only patriot standing. Enjoy your new alliance with Bernie and Ayers.

No they WON’T target Ted because

TED IS NO THREAT TO THE SYSTEM, only Trump.

That should be obvious by now.

Not in their autocratic world. One way or another it is going to come crashing down. BTW, how many of these traitors are up for re-election this year?

Here is the good news. We are experiencing a revolution in conservative courage.

In Sweden, masked men are beating muslim gangs.

In Germany they are going too far against muslims actually, burning down their apartments and blocking fire/rescue.

In England, the Queen is siding with an anti-EU candidate and openly opposed to gay marriage.

Here in the US? Patriots are encouraging record level political incorrectness. Ugly, but we must break the shackles of thought control and leftist dominance.

It is disgusting what you are doing. Just like the Muslims who blame the woman for being raped because of the way she dressed. Go away back to DU.

Cruz didn’t say Trump was responsible for the violence. He said Trump was responsible for creating a negative atmosphere.”

Kind of like: “I’m not saying that she’s responsible for having just been raped, I’m saying that her short dress created an atmosphere that drove others to rape her.”

Even stupider is the Cruzers trying to defend it. Its like blaming the rape victim for the way she dressed and not the rapist.

So I was at the Hospital yesterday with my Dad (92yr old WW2 Sub veteran. I missed the evening’s activities. I saw clips on the TV when I got home.

My thought was that It wasn’t surprising that this occurred at a Trump rally.

Are the leftist organized and looking for a fight? Ues they are.

Does Trump bear some responsibility?

Yes he does. When you have incidents like the guy who sucker punched the protester at the rally this week, and don’t strongly denounce the protester and the guy who assaulted the protester you leave yourself wide open to this sort of thing.

Everyone wants to beat their chest, but that is what happens. There will now be incidents like this at every rump rally prepare for this.

Trump has encouraged his supportes to be violent.

His supporters, at his rallies, have responded by being violent.

Now, I am not going to say that this justifies the actions of the violent protesters in Chicago. Obviously they were breaking the law, and trying to suppress their political opposition through violence.

But Trump has been doing the same thing. It is a little late for Trump to be trying to stuff that Genie back into the bottle.

And you left out those comments were made in the context of good Americans defending themselves from leftist violent thugs who started it. Stop blaming the victims for being victim for being raped like a Muslim does.

It does not matter how she dresses its still all the attackers fault and always will be.

Yeah; the guy I saw was in maroon. Not Ayers.

And I’ve seen posters here that say Beck’s people were protesting.

Cruz is a big letdown. I know he thinks he is the smartest guy in any room, but he is young, brash, too sure of himself, and frankly his judgment has shown itself wanting several times.

True! The too cool for school syndrome. As another Freeper said, "Ted is dead to me"

Just stop it, You are doing the exact same thing as balming a rape victim for the cloths she wore.

The fact is all of those politically uncorrect comments were made in the context of good Americans defending themselves from violent leftists who started the violence.

so NO no blame here rests on the good guys.

Is Cruz really so politically inept to not understand that he cost himself any chance at national officer ever? He had a chance to stand up to the radical left and didn't. It won't be forgotten.

Again, why? Is he compromised in some way? Or has the Establishment promised him a golden parachute? Or did ambition get the better of him? I don't get it.

Good on you, FRiend. It’s even stranger to many of us on Team Trump to be talking about Cruz like this. Who would have imagined this happening a few years ago?

I mean, I thought Cruz was sort of a squish when he joined Beck at the border to give soccer balls and teddy bears to illegal immigrants, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect him to sink so low. And he’s not the only one.

Rush is in on it.
Levin is in on it.
Fox News is in on it.
Even Rose in Pittsburgh, one of my favorite local talk radio hosts, is in on it. She’s used her show to pimp Cruz so many times that I can’t stand listening to her.

The Donald has exposed just deep the corruption runs in both sides - the same side - of the establishment, and he’s the only one running who can flush it out.

And I’ve regained some respect for Savage as - apparently - the only one in the media who’s not drinking the establishment Kool-Aid. He’s had Trump on his show several times and, to his credit, has held Trump to some pretty tough interview questions.

The “rape victim” analogy is a little strained.

Trump has been advocating violence against his opposition, from the podium, at rallies, in front of TV cameras.

Now, Trump supporters discout this as just more loose talk and hyperbolic rhetoric from their candidate. He doesn’t mean it, it is just Trump being Trump...

But don’t blame people when they listen and take him at his word. At some point the “Trump is just being Trump” get-out-of-jail-free card has to be returned to the bottom of the pile.
