I don’t like this. I hope Ted Cruz understands if Trump drops out, he will be next on these groups target list.

He understands two things:

1. If Trump doesn't drop out, he's toast.

2. If Trump drops out, the anti-Cruz folks will not be as rabid or as broad-based as those against trump - Trump scares all the right folks and even scares the terrorist States more than anyone else out there. Trump's enemies include the RNC/GOPe (who think backing Cruz is going to save them from what Trump would mean for them)/Democrats/Terrorists/Glen "I've gone off the deep end" Beck/BlackLivesMatter/Thugs in general/ and all sorts of other unsavory characters who see Cruz as their own lesser-evil choice.
