Californians not hot on Donald Trump, private poll finds [Trump 25 Cruz 19.6 Rubio 17.6 Kasich 15.4]

Californians haven't had a chance to officially weigh in on the presidential race, but they're definitely watching.

And they don't seem thrilled with what they see in Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

A poll conducted by Republican strategists this week shows Trump is viewed unfavorably by 65.5% of those surveyed. The numbers get even worse when it comes to some of the most important parts of the Golden State's electorate — from middle-of-the-road voters to women and beyond.

If I were a Cruz supporter, I’d be embarrassed to admit the only way I could win is everyone drop out. Is that positive? Sounds like a weak candidate to me.

Our poor little San Francisco outpost will deliver 5 votes to Cruz but I don’t know if it will help much...

Really? Ronald Reagan was not a Californian and we made
him governor. Remember what happened next?

Another expert on ALL Californians from one who flies
the flag of a state that also has a dubious voting
record in recent years.

Just in case anyone was still wondering why California is such a mess, the article from the Sacramento Bee that I’m excerpting below my comments ought to clear things up for you.

Don’t believe the GOPe and CoC lie that hispanics are amenable to voting Republican in large numbers. They are NOT! California is completely owned and operated by the democrats and their Leftist supporters.

It is highly unlikely that any Republican will be elected to a statewide office anywhere in the near future, including the Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Babs Boxer. That Senate seat is almost guaranteed to be won by the Leftist anti-second amendment Attorney General Kamala Harris, an associate of _resident 0b0la.

Let these numbers sink in for a minute. White people are now in the minority in the largest state in the Union and it took less than 45 years to accomplish it. I’m not a racist by any means, but it’s time to face the fact that there is already an undeclared war on white people and democrats are importing a permanent voting bloc just as fast as they can.

My theory is that many CA conservatives left for other states...They were replaced by “anchor babies” of illegal aliens. Remember those “anchor babies” are US citizens whether we like it or not...

Most of those “anchor babies” are Hispanic...I think most of them support Dems...

Harris will win the Senate seat...No, I don’t think Trump or some other Republican will win CA in November...

I think many in CA GOP establishment wants to get more Hispanic votes by sounding less “harsh” on illegal immigration...I think those people are clueless.
Many of those Hispanic voters like more government programs...

I didn’t say do not vote for Trump. What I said was, your California vote wont matter. The Commie Dems of California will go to Hillary Clinton in the General election.

Your vote wont count and wont matter. That is my point. We have no representation in California. The overwhelming numbers of registered commie Democrats means they control who California votes for.

Our vote is meaningless.

Vote for Trump. It won’t matter. Hillery is taking California no matter what.

Just like every Democrat candidate for the past 30 years and 7 elections straight. CA is a one-party Democrat stronghold.

From your lips to God’s ears.

I read your entire post and remain convinced California will go for Hillary. I all but guarantee it. I will be thrilled to eat crow if we go for Trumo. It will not happen. The commie Dems here will hand California to Hitlery, just as they handed it twice to The current Muslim in chief.

Add in 30 years of east coast liberals moving to Zcalifornia while Conservatives leave.

California is toast. It is a lost cause.

I can’t predict the future any better than anyone else.

I do know California will be receptive to Trump if he hit’s the right issues.

Income tax
Sales tax
Gas tax
Special temporary tax
Property Tax

I can’t see a few issues for Trump to discuss right off the bat.

Living in California, I know quite a few commie libs who used to be friends who I now cant stomach, but when I used to talk with them, every single one of them loved taxes and never saw a tax they didnt like. They trusted government and loved to delegate power to government in the way of new taxes. Trump has nothing to tell them they want to hear. Hitlery will say abortion, diversity, homophobia, sustainability to them, and the lemmings will flock to her. We just dont have nearly as many republican lemmings.
