Up until the eve of the election in 1980, they thought Carter was going to beat him.
Those “polls” didn’t work out either.
He’s losing by a few points because the conservative vote is split between 3 candidates and Trump has the Other vote all to himself.
You will see a different picture if Rubio finally has the sense and grace to drop out.
Kasich is just too crazy to do it.

I live in very liberal Marin County. I know several Democrats who like Trump but no Democrats who like Cruz (or any other Republicans).

Well, I browsed through 3 pages of responses on that link (184 posts ) and I do not see anyone questioning the South Carolina poll showing Trump winning.

I worked for a company who had a management crew everyone hated, feared, and suffered from with grueling demands for measurable performance. The reward was being acquired and every employee was made handsomely comfortable financially based on our increased value and continued prosperity under our new employer who worshiped our workforce.
Liking leadership in favor of working for strong leaders (who make you uncomfortable) leads people to eventual disappointment. In world affairs it leads to disaster and death.

I have seen absolutely NOTHING from Marco Rubio which indicates that he can campaign his way out of a paper bag. He could not even get close to Kasich in Michigan for cripes sakes.
