It IS adeflection and that’s why you prequalified your question saying its not a deflection. That’s Psychology 101.

I did not watch the childish GOTCHA FOX NEWS DEBATE.

What are you still thing to figure things out, and are very confused about what is going on in this country???

Fox News for the most part has turned in to deceives and liars. They are anything but fair and balanced. ...Their slogan reminds me a lot of “Work Makes You Free” at the gate Aushwitz concentration camp

Curious to know how many times do you have to be deceived and lied to before you tune them out?

Last night’s debate only appealed to the clueless, the insecure, indecisive and the weak minded. It was just a gotcha debate and nothing serious. The people that watched it told me they were embarrassed talking about male organ sizes, etc.. instead of serious issues that affect us all.

What you still unsure who you are going to vote for???

LOL!

Actually, the only one who voted against the Corker Bill was Tom Cotton. And he endorses ... Bernie Sanders ( for the Democrats ).

I oppose all immigration for about 2 decades. As the nation did in the 1900’s, we should have a pause while the legal immigrants currently here are assimilated.

Additionally, we should become English only to accommodate that by law.

Finally, I would permanently ban muslim world immigration until we have an absolute, virtually foolproof background check.

Once we have that foolproof system, I’d require anyone, visitor or immigrant, to go through it before allowing entry.

RE: No, but I have a former Canadian, turned naturalized American you can vote for.

Ted Cruz was NEVER naturalized.

Good point.

They’d do that, too. They are corrupt.

“What about revamping education to create these needed people, instead of kids with degrees in nothing marketable over a short order cook?”

He’s planning on that, but of course the results won’t be immediate. We’ve had 40 years of dumping down to reverse. The dumbed down teachers are now ‘teaching’ the dumbed down students.

If the economy zooms significantly, we won’t have a good pool of high skilled employees for at least 22 years.

We differ there. I think a few highly-qualified STEM workers are in our interest, but not as H-1B workers. If they come, they should want to become Americans. Christians from Middle Eastern countries are also on my list, particularly those who have been displaced by American policies as they have in droves under Commander Xero. Those are true refugees.

I joined the Trump train over illegal immigration and unfair free trade.

H-1B ping. Let me know if you're not on the list and want to be added (or are and want to be removed).

“Trump apologists see this as an attempt by Trump to go back to the ORIGINAL INTENT of H1-B — to allow the HIGHLY SPECIALIZED, HIGHLY SKILLED ( e.g. the Albert Einstein’s of the world ) to get a fast track.

Whether this is the case or not, I don’t know.”

Not much different then what we practiced in the years following WWII when we highly recruited that kind of talent, as it was necessary for the advancement of our aerospace and rocket technology and critical for our national defense. That of course is different than how the H1B program is abused now, and Trump states his desire to eliminate those abuses, which he needs to hold true to his word.

I don’t think it is fair to BOTH Trump AND Cruz to say they don’t have healthcare plans. THEY BOTH DO.

You can’t go into policy details while you are campaigning. The details can only fleshed out AFTER one wins the Presidency.

Here is a general outline of Cruz’s healthcare plan ( that, BTW was presented publicly BEFORE Trump’s plan was unveiled last week ):

http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2016/02/06/ted-cruzs-3-point-plan-to-repeal-and-replace-obama.aspx

If you read it, you will notice SIMILARITIES with Trump’s plan.

1. Creation of a nationwide marketplace

2. Expansion of health savings accounts

3. De-linking health insurance from the workplace

I don’t care who copied whose ideas, the point is these ideas WORK and ought to be in ANY healthcare plan.

Since ANYONE can claim to be a Christian, I will oppose all immigration until a foolproof identity system is in place.

Look, his parents did not file the proper paper work to have him declared an American born abroad before he was brought back to the United States. They apparently produced enough paperwork for the State Department to issue him an American Passport in the late 1980s.

But if Ted Cruz stays in the race long enough, this will be litigated. I don’t think we will have to worry about Little Marco the Anchor Baby much longer. The Ides of March approach!

I joined because Cruz lied about not knowing he had Canadian citizenship. Try as I might, I simply cannot reconcile that with a super, world-class lawyer who had his own birth certificate in his own hands.

I went to his website under issues, and he simply does not have a health care plan listed.

HE was the one who hounded Trump about the details of Trump’s plan because all it was based on was verbal explanation by Trump.

I turn around to discover that Cruz doesn’t have one, and I think to myself, “What kind of BS is that?!”

Looks like he’s clarifying what he said last night by differentiating between talented people who immigrate here legally, get educated, become citizens and want to stay, vs. using the H-1B as a cheap labor program, a practice he would eliminate.

That's today. I wonder what he will be saying about it tomorrow?

An H-1B who come here legally and want to stay are still taking a job away from an American citizen. Both are talented. Both are educated. One wants to be a citizen and the other is a citizen. But it's the citizen that is screwed and the immigrant who makes out. And Trump doesn't see a problem with that.

Which Cruz do I believe.

None of them. He's adjusted his position on the key issues of immigration and trade often since announcing his candidacy on March 23, 2015.
