Does anyone doesn’t believe that the NY Times is not going to release the Trump interview tape if/when Hillary/Trump go head to head?

If so I know a Nigerian prince who needs help lol

Simply amazing. Dear Leader makes a proclamation from onhigh - using the language skills of an 14 year old - and the cultists all bow and follow blindly.

What the heck happened to this site that I joined almost 12 years ago. Where is the intellectual curiosity to ask, nay demand, that our leaders give us specifics? That our leaders are held accountable for the nonsense they spew?

It appears the Donald virus (rendering its victims completely devoid of any discernible intelligence) has taken over the majority of users on FR. Seems like FR has become a one issue (illegal immigration) based forum and sadly when all you have is that one issue, it attracts all kinds of nefarious individuals, who we conservative usually wouldn’t fraternize.

Well, you’re going to get dizzy being his apologist as he does his flip flops.

“Well, you’re going to get dizzy being his apologist as he does his flip flops.”

Yeah, not so much. If trump controls the border, eliminates half the illegals present, improves trade and taxes, it will move us back from the abyss and buy time.

Frankly, it is likely too late financially and we will crash and burn. Still it’s a country worth fighting for.

If the fireman who comes to help has bad hair, or owns a casino, or changed positions on visas, or had some side businesses fail, or had his picture taken with Al Sharpton - well, I don’t care. Save my house and we can fix the rest later.

It’s that simple.

Ditto. All I know about the debates, I've read on Free Republic.

Same here. My antipathy doubles when it's on Fox.

Sorry friend - never soiled Sessions reputation but nice try.

Just pointed out the fact he's a lone wolf here. Get some more real Conservatives and less RINOs then talk to me.

Reagan was also a Democrat. I care about immigration. None of the other issues matter right now.

Yes, these are called F1 VISAs.

Trump was talking about foreign-born graduates trained in the United States. These get F1 VISAs, not H1B.

Geez - how many times have I heard that?

A 1930-40s Democrat is nowhere near the modern day Democrat. Reagan never promoted the liberal agenda as it stands today, certainly not the way Trump has contributed into it and promoted it himself.

I get it, you want a wall. I understand it, we all do.

Trump cannot be compared to Reagan on any level in any way. If you want to support him, which is your choice for sure, at least put him up as his own man.

No need to reduce the achievements of the greatest modern Conservative to fit your boy into a box where he doesn't belong.

I loved his response “If someone is wrong and changes his mind is he supposed to wrong for the rest of his life?” or something like that.

It’s a good thing Ronald Reagan didn’t stay wrong all of his life.

Isn’t the H1B visa thing that Cruz wrote and voted on and wanted to increase it by 50 times or something?

If he was so concerned about Americans as he says he is, why would be vote for something like this? That Disney thing was terrible....

I don’t know about the others who are fed up with the fraud politicians and are willing to overlook Trump’s shortcomings, but for me, every time I see a post like yours I skip right past it. So, you’re wasting your time.

Why don’t you go over to DU. They’ll read anything anti republican. Or you could get in some good practice by posting negative stuff about Hillary. Like me, they’ll skip it.

For the first time in my life I intend to do just what the enemy does if that’s what it takes to win.

>> In practice definitely, but that is not the nominal purpose of the law, which is (supposedly) to fill positions for which no American candidates can be found.

To fill positions for which no American candidates can be found, at the low price we’re willing to pay.

There, fixed it for you. ;-)

All that matters is price.

The H1-B is nothing more than a cheap labor visa. The H1-B visa needs to be destroyed & those in the country on the H1-B need to be returned to their country of origin.

To fill positions for which no American candidates can be found, at the low price we’re willing to pay.

In high technology business, this is sometimes not true in the short term no matter what the salary. An example would be the Manhattan project, in which we attracted imported scientists because they were the few qualified to do that job. Yes, we can graduate or train people who might then qualify for such positions, but it does come at a substantial cost of delay which does cost the company which does cost other jobs within that company. Consider what would have happened without those foreigners in the Manhattan Project. Worse, if million-dollar-a-year jobs resulted from such shortages, there would be nobody to train more people because the professors would evacuate the universities, meaning fewer Americans would get those high-paying jobs.

Thus, a line must be drawn, even for the good of those working in those industries.

Yes. And if you had watched the debate, you would know that the question to Trump included the fact that his position on his website about visas is now different from what he is saying. His response was that he is “softening” on the issue. I about choked myself screaming NOOOOOOOOOO! I am a HUGE Trump supporter who is mad as hell about this. This topic is right up there for me with immigration. I am pissed.

You are not going to get your conservative SC nominee out of anyone but Trump; the GOPe and donors will not permit it.

H-1B is terrible program and needs to die.

CruZaders™ shouldn't be celebrating that Trump is waffling on H-1b. They should be lamenting that another politician is playing fast and loose with peoples livelihoods. The goal is good policy not getting "your man" elected.
