It seems the ranch has about a 4000 ft elevation: https://www.topoquest.com/map.php?lat=29.861944&lon=-104.333333&datum=nad83&zoom=4
Somewhat thinner air than at sea level.

Peaceably in his sleep. I can think of about 7000 worse ways to die.
Yeah, well, a medical doctor to attend his death and tell us what happened would have told us what the story was
Headlines like this are enormously insulting
He was a Supreme Court justice. It’s never going to stop. The fact is that we the people are owed a lot more than this. He was not a private citizen
If more people would pay attention to what we are about These guys work for us, not the other way around. They do not work for congress or for tge president. We are not a monarchy. His salary and benefits his non obamacare health insurance he reportedly didn’t use came from taxpayer money
Do people know how much money gets taken out of their paycheck to pay for these people? $400 per WEEK for me $1600 per month
To pay for people to tell me we don’t need a coroner or a med examiner at this man’s death?
It will not go away
Here’s a recent headline. It could be very separate from Scalias death.
5 things to watch when the Supreme Court hears its biggest abortion case in 25 years

Since Scalia was a life long smoker, he probably removed CPAP to have a smoke. Had a heart attack instead
Hey, Doc Mirkin. You are living your life and the Honorable Justice Scalia lived his. Leave his legacy alone.
“However, there was no evidence of foul play and no reason to pursue these theories because there was just about every possible reason to predict that Scalia would have a heart attack. His medical history shows multiple risk factors for a heart attack....”
Man, I guess I’m in my bonus years, I’m 85 and, as of now, still going strong. Not bragging now, just happy to be above ground.
Judge Guevera spoke with Scalia’s doctor six hours after declaring Scalia died of “natural causes”, the physician consultation did not inform her decisions. She did not know his medical history yet it is repeatedly trotted out.

You are in good company with my friend “Mears”, whom I’m sure takes good care of herself.
Yaaaaay,someone older than me.
You said “Im sure takes good care of herself.”
I just had a Nestles Crunch while listening to Romney. Does that count?
:-)

“You Make Me Feel so Young”——great song by Ol’ Blue Eyes
And I’m only 83——that’s how you make me feel. :-)

Chromium & Benfotiamine (a B Vitamin) - Husband has high
blood sugar and takes these two things, also True Cinnamon
capsules (not what we’ve always thought was cinnamon) True
Cinnamon from Ceylon IS something totally different. I
have some loose in a jar & I use it just like regular
cinnamon. - Ask your doctor; of course, they don’t usually
think diet matters & “supplement” is a dirty word to them.
So far, husband does pretty well controlling it & hasn’t
had to take drugs for it.

A Nestles Crunch won’t hurt you. That other thing might fry a few brain cells.
Roberts may have taken up even more evil habits....and the Damnocrats have it on tape.
Exactly!
My dad’s life expectancy when he was born in rural Missouri in 1919 was probably to his late 50’s and didn’t factor into his being in the US Army from 1939-1963.
He died at 71 and smoked 4-5 packs a day, poured half a salt shaker on every meal, and did what he wanted to do when he wanted it.
When he was dying the VA doctor asked him if he had ever though about quitting smoking and my dad looked him in the eye and asked if the Army ever considered not giving him free cigarettes for 25 years!
His death was rated 100% service connected.
