Once again you jump to facts not in evident.
I was not defending or condemning one side or the other, just pointing out that the reason politician seldom provide detail answers is sooner or later their words will be used against them, in context or out of context, does not matter to the opposition.
Feel free to call Trump a liar if you wish, feel free to defend Cruz if you wish, or change them around, that was not my point.
Is this “good” or “bad”, neither it is politics, deal with it.

I play to people's fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That's why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. Donald Trump, The Art of the Deal, 1987. It is my sincere hope you never find out what's in "the real deal," because if you do, you'll get it good and hard.
