National Review: Jeff Sessions Is a ‘Prostitute’ for Endorsing Donald Trump
Breitbart ^ | March 1, 2016 | Matthew Boyle

National Review, a once-venerable conservative publication, has officially gone off the rails entirely, publishing an article calling Sen. Jeff Sessions a “prostitute” for endorsing billionaire Donald Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.

That abominable attack on perhaps the most revered conservative in the U.S. Senate ran in a National Review piece arguing that anyone who endorses Trump is a “rat” that is “scurrying” and is also a “sellout.”

Not a Drumph fan at all...

But NR looks ridiculous when attacking a solid conservative like Sessions for endorsing Drumph.

...about as ridiculous as Drumph fans look for attacking Rush, Levin, Sowell, etc... for criticizing Drumph.

Transference is a sign of serious psychological issues. Of all the magazines to be preaching about turpitude.

The masks are really coming off now.
The facilitators of the UniParty have just about been completely revealed by the Trump Juggernaut.

I was once a loyal NRer. I went on four cruises and attended other events when I could afford them. While this Trump-bashing is quite unbecoming (We get it! You don’t like Trump!), my breaking point was the NRI Summit I attended a few years back:

It was a Fri.-Sun. conference in DC, with a lot of heavy-weight speakers. On Sat. morning I got up early and rushed down to get a seat at the table right in front of the stage. I was so psyched, and it was great!

Until noon, that is.

At that time, an NR minion came to our table of 10 (or 8; I can’t remember exactly) and said, You have to leave, we need this table.

After a lot of WTF? back and forth, we were forced to leave our table.

I raised holy hell and demanded that they provide us with another table. They were going to kick us out of our seats with no alternative!

After I raised a yuuuge stink, additional tables were wheeled in for us and the people at the other tables, who had also been kicked out of their all-morning-long seats. It was right before Cruz and Walker took the stage.

When we were seated at our new tables, moved from the front of the stage to the side of it, I looked over to see WTF was so important that we were booted from our seats.

You know who were sitting at our tables? NR staff! Paying participants were unceremoniously 86’ed from their seats so the salaried (or whatever- they certainly didn’t pay what I did to attend) NR staff had front row for the best part.

That was the last time NR got one dime from me.

I still love Jay and KW, but I’ll click on nothing re Trump.

——What’s the difference between National Review and National Enquirer?

Enquirer actually breaks real stories. I think they broke John Edwards while everyone else ignored it.

If Trump wins the presidency, a 3rd party may emerge. Not a TEA party, but I feel that many of the GOP will either switch parties to D, become independent or form their own party, which is not a bad thing, they would be defunct in short time.

There is so much money to be thrown at the Bush/Clinton school of politician, and it will be obvious that they have no place at the table of a Trump presidency (shit or get off the pot presidency), they will re-assess their allegiance, either to their country or to themselves, and I bet for many the choice will be clear.

The biggest threat to these people is that Trump as a CEO and a leader demands results, not big speeches and good intentions. Those latter are what the GOP personify.

I had dinner with Byron York on the first NR cruise I went on and I asked him about his Edwards follow-up on NR, after the story broke on NE. It was quite interesting.

NRO like all good GOP realize that if Trump wins or loses they have positioned themselves to raise money.

If he wins, they can rally around the “I told you so” crowd and publish untold issues of every perceived mistake Trump makes, if he loses they can rally around the same crowd, promoting their own GOPe candidates while attempting to finally quash the rebellion.

Endorsing Trump does nothing for them or the GOP.

The party is fueled by fund-raising, and for that they need an enemy, but it will never be the D party. The GOP is utterly terrified of being called -ist (racist, sexist, homophobic, etc) and will never fight the D’s.

Easier to fight your own.

I don’t think that Sessions is a prostitute, just a fool.

He’s no fool. If not for him, you would have amnesty and more bad trade agreements.

Maybe these Cucks can relocate National Review to St. Paul, MN.

They'll fit in better.

They suicided for me when they fired John Derbyshire.

Yep, they were already going off the rails before that, but firing Derbyshire was the clincher for me. People like those at NR are part of the problem of making it impossible to have an honest, non-hateful conversation about race in this country-that conversation everybody, on both left and right, is always pretending they want to have, when what they really mean is yet another lecture to whites about how evil we all are (as they utilise everything whites have ever invented to do it).

Thanks Grampa Dave.
Of course, if he endorses Donald Trump, there will be four or five years of vilification of the man, right here on FR. [post #19]
