I did not know Cruz said he did not need God’s forgiveness
If Cruz actually gave a crap about border security, would he support Rubio?
If Cruz was really conservative, he would not have teamed up with Rubio
and the GOPe’s to try to take out Trump at the debate.
Trump survived.
Cruz and Rubio will not survive.
If you actually gave a crap about border security, would you support Trump? I mean, what’s the point of a wall if Trump’s going to let them right back in anyway?
So, he didn’t know it himself, but Texas did? Texas should have told him, because he said he didn’t know it until he decided to run for president.

Cruz, do you need forgiveness for lying about how long Trump was for partial-birth abortion? It was not 60 years. The case allowing for abortion was in 1973, 42 years ago. It took quite awhile for the partial birth abortion concept to reach the public. It probably did not to the 80s or 90s.
If Cruz were a true Christian, he’d be praying for Trump (which he may be doing, but who knows). Instead Ted, go ahead and use God as a political tool and cheapen his name.
Cruz is appealing to a standard evangelical understanding of the human condition. The Bible teaches that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” The only human exception to that in Biblical theology is Jesus. So it makes no sense to us that Trump claims he has never sought forgiveness. It means, to us, he has not yet confronted his own sinfulness, which we know is there, because God’s own revelation teaches it is there, in every person’s heart. We are not trying to stand in judgment of Trump. We are simply unable to square what he has publically said with what God has publically said.

You are putting words into his mouth, he never said he was perfect or did not need forgiveness he said he was not sure he asked for it. He admits if he does something wrong he tries to make it right. Nothing about being perfect.

Well actually, Trump made a pretty big deal when he made the statement that he had never asked God for forgiveness, because he never did anything to be forgiven for, yet he waves a bible and says he reads the bible more than anyone.

But only one month later, asked by Jamie Weinstein of the Daily Caller in September 2015 whether he would not have changed his mind on abortion had the child he often referred to turned out to be a loser, Trump admitted, “Probably not, but I’ve never thought of it. I would say no, but in this case it was an easy one because he’s such an outstanding person.”
Nobody is buying it, “Ted” time to get out before you humiliate yourself further.

Trump’s religious beliefs are nobody’s business but Trump’s.
Cruz seems to be trying to get us to apply this litmus test to Trump/ he broadcast his appeal to evangelicals and hispanics in South Carolina and fell short.
Trump is basically saying, take me as I am. Maybe Cruz might be more successful if he stopped thinking of Trump non-stop and started being more positive.
