If Hillary Clinton manages to beat Bernie Sanders, the early primaries have already revealed that there's only one strategy for the general election against a Republican, be it Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, or Ted Cruz: Scorch the earth.

This is the kind of battle that actually strengthens Trump. In a mutually assured destruction scenario with a third party candidate, the third party candidate will draw votes from her.

How much earth could a federal felon scorch if a federal felon could scorch earth?
It’s been that way in every state so far. The democrat turnout is consistently smaller that the Republican turnout. That would be understandable if Hillary was beating the geriatric commie by 20 or more points in every poll...but she’s not. Comrade Sanders has been neck and neck with her in every race. That should INCREASE turnout. But turnout is down...way down.
