not ready for prime time. He should have tried a stint as gov or congress.

Same for Trump. The presidency is not an entry-level position.

Nah, Carson only got in this to sell books, he’d be a walking liability.

I hope Trump picks someone who comes from a political career. He’ll need this in the general for the sake of credibility as being capable of sound administration in government. Someone with a solid conservative background on top issues like immigration and radical islam, no scandals, no obvious pandering to the globalists, who hasn’t been on the national stage for at least a few years. As long as they fit that basic criteria at the onset, I’ll be happy.

Good Lord......

How about Trump/Bush?
How about Trump/Kasich?

Seriously, Trump does need a quiet well respected Congressman/Senator for a VP nominee.

Westmoreland, Gohmert, Sessions, Allen West come to mind.

Interesting logic, considering you like Trump because he didn’t have such experience.

I don’t back people for the V.P. slot I wouldn’t vote for for president.

Carson is a decent man. He’s not the right decent man for the V.P. slot.

Allen West or Sessions would be great.

Sessions knows the Senate; they won’t eat him alive like they would Dr. Carson.

And West would be a hammer, and the everything would like nails to him.

We need that right now.

So I think Trump would be afraid Carson might stab him in the belt buckle.

I forgot all about the stabbing of the belt buckle. Best election ever!!

Trump is corrupt as well. He bragged about buying politicians for get favorable treatment, so he thinks that’s routine and acceptable. So he can be bought as well.

I'm laughing at your shining perfection.

Everyone can be bought, including you. You sound like a virgin talking about what you think sex should be like.

No one supports anyone without payoff in politics. That's literally what the game IS. Trump has WAY more leverage because of his money, but even he has to pay off supporters eventually, in some way. The only hope is that because of his relative independence, he views paying off his voters with honesty as his most important obligation.

Yeah, it's a pipe dream. But until God gives us a Divine King, it's the best system we've come up with compared to the others.

Nah....not gonna happen.

He doesn’t have the legislative background and he brings little else to the table. Trump himself has thought about asking a politician, because he would not need another him.

I like Carson. There is very little he cannot do. I just don’t think he is ready for prime time.

Of course the VP slot is usually reserved for the attack dog. I don’t think trump is going need him for that. So I guess Christie is out.

And I think Trump comparing Carson to a child molester and doing that belt-buckle routine tells us more about Trump than it does about Carson.

“Trump is corrupt as well. He bragged about buying politicians for get favorable treatment, so he thinks that’s routine and acceptable. So he can be bought as well.”

This makes no sense.

Trump bought politicians so

Politicians can buy Trump?

Those two things are not analogous they are opposites.
