Donald Trump on Monday night once again ratcheted up his attacks on Sen. Ted Cruz, calling his GOP presidential rival "sick."
"This guy is sick. There's something wrong with this guy," Trump said Monday night as he slammed Cruz for the senator's campaign tactics, including the attack ads Cruz and his allies have run against Trump.
Cruz's campaign has run several ads scrutinizing Trump's record on a variety of issues important to conservatives.
Trump has repeatedly slammed Cruz since the Texas senator surged in the polls ahead of the Iowa caucuses and has since ramped up his attacks on him since Cruz beat Trump in the Iowa contest.
Campaigning in South Carolina last week, Trump also called Cruz "unstable" and "a basket case."
Trump also pointed out Monday that he beat Cruz out for the most support among evangelical voters in the South Carolina primary and said evangelicals voted against Trump because "they don't like liars."
"They're really smart people. They don't want to vote for a liar," Trump said Monday to a crowd of thousands packed into a Las Vegas arena.
Cruz, who has sought to position himself as the one "true conservative" in the race, has ramped up his attacks about Trump, bashing the Republican frontrunner for his "New York values" and suggesting Trump is not conservative.

So, who are his “associates”?. Would it be the raging Christian Glenn Beck? I’m betting this is your example.
Are you happy Palin supported Trump? What is it? Are you anti Christian? Do you hate religion and God? If so you call yourself a Conservative on a Conservative website? a
Trump as soon as he gets the nomination will likely have to brow beat Mitch and the boys to hold off on a nomination to the Supreme Court. Otherwise they will cave in.
We can only hope and pray. :-)
‘How do you know. We’re you in the closet with them?’
What a silly question—and I’m being very kind with that description.

Oh, stop being so defensive. I'm a Bible-thumping, God-fearing child of God myself.
If it makes you feel any better, there are legions of us out here who view negatively this type of public praying and kneeling and professing and witnessing and talking-like-a-preacher. I can't see it without being taken back in my mind to the Bible references of the pious and insincere Pharisees that Jesus detested so much. Or the memories of pious preachers who got caught in the baptistry with the elder's wife. Or the elder who would go forward 2 Sundays a month to ask the congregation for forgiveness for his gambling habit. Or the deacon whose car would be spotted on occasional Friday nights behind The Redneck Roundup Saloon and he would be leading emotional prayers two days later in church.
Maybe it's just Christians in the South, I dunno. Maybe it's Southern Christians raised in non-Apostolic church environments, I dunno. Or maybe he can thank Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart for getting caught sleeping around "in sin" during the week and preaching to us on Sundays.
Whatever it is, it's a huge red flag to many Christians, and neither you nor I can change that. And that's why he lost SC. When voters juxtapose the Public Piety behavior with the perception of Dirty Trick Politics, SC is the result.
Don't get defensive, just explain to me your mindset of how this type of "public professing" comes across as genuine. My mind is open.
Good point about the Pharisees.....

I could cut and paste 226 here, or you can just scroll up and read it.
I await your enlightenment, especially since you're in The South. The other guy is in Mass, which is an entire world away from a typical Texan upbringing.
Yes, that is a very good point.
I can see it now. Trump holds a rally with 10k people and tells the crowd that if they want to send a strong message to McConnell and friends, then start doing "The Wave." Then he stands back a few minutes so we can "Have a little Come-to-Jesus talk to the RINOs." LOL!
He really needs to hire a production team to film these rallies from behind the podium, panning the crowd. Put it up live on YouTube. Make ad videos. Spread it far and wide on social media.
Big business owns the politicians. Trump has never run for political office before. No one owns him.
That is a good idea, about making videos of his rallies.
All eminent domain? You may disagree with the Kelo decision but according to SCOTUS eminent domain is Constitutional and it has been around since the founding of the Republic.
The practice of condemnation was transplanted into the American colonies with the common law. In the early years, unimproved land could be taken without compensation; this practice was accepted because land was so abundant that it could be cheaply replaced. When it came time to draft the United States Constitution, differing views on eminent domain were voiced. Thomas Jefferson favored eliminating all remnants of feudalism, and pushed for allodial ownership.[4] James Madison, who wrote the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution, had a more moderate view, and struck a compromise that sought to at least protect property rights somewhat by explicitly mandating compensation and using the term "public use" rather than "public purpose," "public interest", or "public benefit".
The Fifth Amendment includes the Public Use Clause and the Takings Clause. Some historians have suggested that these limitations on the taking power were inspired by the need to permit the army to secure mounts, fodder and provisions from local ranchers and the perceived need to assure them compensation for such takings. Similarly, soldiers forcibly sought housing in whatever homes were near their military assignments. To address the latter problem, the Third Amendment was enacted in 1791 as part of the US Constitution's Bill of Rights. It provided that the quartering of soldiers on private property could not take place in peacetime without the landowner's consent. It also required that, in wartime, established law had to be followed in housing troops on private property. Presumably, this would mandate "just compensation," a requirement for the exercise of eminent domain in general per the Fifth Amendment. All U.S. states have legislation specifying eminent domain procedures within their respective territories.
The power of governments to take private real or personal property has always existed in the United States, as an inherent attribute of sovereignty. This power reposes in the legislative branch of the government and may not be exercised unless the legislature has authorized its use by statutes that specify who may use it and for what purposes. The legislature may take private property by passing an Act transferring title to the government. The property owner may then seek compensation by suing in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. The legislature may also delegate the power to private entities like public utilities or railroads, and even to individuals for the purpose of acquiring access to their landlocked land. Its use was limited by the Takings Clause in the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1791, which reads, "... nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation." The Fifth Amendment did not create the national government's right to use the eminent domain power, it simply limited it to public use.
I am familiar with this. Mr. Trump has EXACTLY the temperament needed to take on the tough GOPe elites and Dems, and win. He’s got to be stronger and tougher than them.
Trump supporters love him BECAUSE he takes no #$%# off these commies.
God Bless Mr. Trump.....all the way to the White House!
First trump compared Carson to a child molester now he doubles down with his leftist attacks.
Trump keep it up and try to win with only trumpsters!
What happens when most of the illegals are welcomed back by trump and his son?
You sound like a mindless idiot.
None of them get it. You don’t get another guy’s supporters by calling their guy “crazy”.
Look, you’re not going to change my mind. I’m not going to change yours. Just remember this. Trump got 40% of the Republican vote. What happens with the other 60%?
Most illegals won’t be welcomed back. You need to read Trump’s immigration plan. JR posted it on FR just yesterday, iirc. At most it was the day before. Find it, read it, and learn.
Haha. You just said facts won’t change your mind. I can’t tell you how much I believe that to be a true statement.
