“They can put Obammieâs mug on a milk carton.”
Please don’t do that. Someone may actually find him.
To: Kaslin
I truly don’t know how his son was able to do that. I was in tears just watching it.

We can all take solace in the fact that evil always has an unhappy ending...and in that POS’s case...We can hope it’s an especially ugly one.

I just clicked on a link on ABC News
Thousands Attend Funeral for Late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia
Where father Scalia told of the time his father came to confession
Father Scalia told of the time his father had found himself in his confession line and quickly departed it. Later he told him "No way am I confessing to you" Father Scalia said the feeling was mutual

They said this morning that it is unprecedented for a President to not attend the funeral of a Supreme Court justice. Not true at all....but yes, he should have been there

FWIW, the Catholic Church does not allow lay people to give eulogies at funeral Masses. Sure it does...at my mothers funeral, many of her grandchildren gave the eulogy....."Christmas....tube socks!!" was one of the statements.....it was awesome!!!

If Vice president Biden wanted to attend, as both V.P and a Catholic....then Obama COULD NOT ATTEND....Pres and V.P. can’t be there together. HOWEVER, I doubt that this was the reason.

For your information ...
Are eulogies proper at funerals?
Note this important point: "Contrary to common assumption, the purpose of the funeral Mass is not to celebrate the life of the deceased but to offer worship to God for Christ's victory over death, to comfort the mourners with prayers, and to pray for the soul of the deceased."
To: Oratam
I did, too, but I’m not sure who was singing it. It almost sounded spontaneous.
Regards,
PS: I am a TLM attendee, but that was the nicest Novus Ordo Mass I’ve ever seen. What a homily!

That is certainly true, but as I always say, common sense prevaails overall....you stated that eulogies were not permitted at a Catholic Funeral Mass....I have been to MANY and eulogies were indeed offered at a lot of them.

You've probably seen a lot of things at Catholic services that aren't permitted. I can remember one lunatic priest in my younger days who gave a sermon in which he called for the Catholic Church to canonize Martin Luther King. LMAO.
I don't know what "common sense prevails" means in this context.
To: Kaslin
Ha! That’s a great story!
