“Turkey is our natural enemy. Russia is our natural ally.”

This is actually rather accurate. Russia (not to be confused with the USSR) historically has much more in common with the U.S. than Turkey does. The only reason Turkey was brought into NATO was to serve as a buffer against the USSR. Now that the UISSR is kaput, we really have no use for Turkey. And Turkey NEVER had any use for us, other than to take our money.

Is there some reason why you would not side with Christians who are not white?

I agree about Turkey. But Christianity started in that neighborhood and an unfortunate fact for you may be that not all Christians are white.

not all Christians are white

Indeed they are not. There are many brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world, and IIRC, we are commanded to be impartial about such things as race.

“Turkey is not fearful of Russia. They are fierce fighters”

Based on what? Anything more recent than Gallipoli?

/Turkey is not fearful of Russia. They are fierce fighters/

Then the Turks best get jihadiedup....

their glowing souls may help find the

72 /white rasins/ in the after life...

but other than that I don’t think Russia will

waste manpower when NUKES will suffice...

but the Russians built 100 of the /Father of All Bombs/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs

each equal to 88,000 lb. of TNT... .period

Uh oh. Did Turkey consult their NATO members? Are they wanting an all out war with Russia? Good grief.

Turkey should not be in NATO. That’s a recipe for disaster.

Turkey is a NATO member state. We as well as other NATO members are obligated by law to intervene if Turkey is attacked. Not good.

I guess Turkey wants to start World War III?

We are for keeping them in NATO. From the Crimean war to now, why the hell has the West been siding with this Christian killing regime? It boggles my mind just as much as our relationship with the Saudis.

Watching the movie “71” which is a chilling portrayal of the conflict in North Ireland. I couldn’t stop myself from asking the question why the British military was even there. Should have just stayed out of it and let both sides battle it out.

We live in a strange world where I would actually applaud the Russians doing just that. Putin is a real bastard but so are the Armenian killing Turks.

Except Russia is continuing to help Iran develop its nuclear weapons. You will have to explain how that makes sense, as clearly those weapons could end up in the hands of the Chechnyans.

I just hope we can all sit on this side of the Atlantic and laugh as Asia crumbles into chaos. But knowing Obama, and his raw talent on being on the wrong side of a war, we will likely start operations against Assad. And John McCain will be right in there goading Obama on.

“Stay out of it.”

I agree.

Except for a few minorities such as the Christians, Zoroastrians, Yazidhis, and Kurds, and the state of Israel, there isn’t much there, from the Balkans to Sudan and from Morocco to Pakistan, worth keeping.

Putin is a murderous, SOB communist, and while the Russian people are OK (aside from their arrogance and willingness to live under intense corruption and dictatorial rulers), Putin is not to be trusted any further than Obama could throw him.

The US should stay out of this until the dust settles (unless there’s a clear, safe shot at the Iranian nukes, of course).
