This doesn’t take into account the “Trump Effect,” so his lead is probably closer to 30.

The “Trump Effect” = all of his positives, name recognition, minus negatives
And he still has 44% of the electorate!
Go Trump, GO!

There is no national primary! Cruz will win the evangelical vote! Donald Trump will quite! Did I miss any? ;-)

Untainted wins, and ones in primaries, give you a bounce like that.

All the excuses are getting more and more less likely to move anybody.
This poll WILL affect South Carolina and Florida.
Jeb Bush all the way DOWN in fifth place means THE NATION doesn’t want another Bush aristocracy member..

Yep. Cruz’s Iowa win was tainted...not really a clean win.

I think Cruz will be settling into his 15% of the faithful.

His people will be peeling off in the not so distant future.
I hope they have the honesty not to go to Bush or Rubio or Kasich who are parts of the establishment.

We're going to find out where we're at in the next month. If SC goes Trump and the SEC primaries go Trump it will be hillary that wins in Nov. If Cruz pulls it out and wins we have a real shot at winning in Nov.
I know a lot of Trump supporters see it differently, but a lot of conservatives will just sit it out in Nov. if Trump is the nominee. I am in that group.

Exactly. It’s clear to many that Cruz is a cheater. He is also very unlikable and demonstrates that daily. He is far from the principled and religious conservative that he portrays. Exposed himself as another cheap politician.

I'm a Trump supporter but he still worries me with his demeanor. If he can just tone it down a bit and act more presidential, I think he has this pretty much won.
As for Sanders being behind Shrillary by just 7 points nationally...just wow. Is she not the worst presidential candidate in history? She couldn't beat a community organizer from Chicago in 2008 and now she's have serious trouble against a washed-up socialist from Vermont.

Trump is creeping up to that magical 50%.
Once he is at or over 50% that will finally really really be the final ceiling so the experts will tell us anyway. After he topped at 20,30,40% of the last 6 months now he will really top at 50%.
Don’t you just love the experts?
