Southern Oregon University plastered its campus with posters asking students to check their privileges in various areas — including their “size privilege.†The posters were placed “all over campus†by the school’s Bias Response Committee, according to an article in The Siskiyou​, the school’s newspaper.

I like tall people! Without them I could never get that stuff off the top shelf in the grocery store.

Doesn’t this just go back to basic animal instincts as far as reproduction goes?

I was at an IKEA once and asked a tall man to reach a package on a high shelf for me. (I’m 5’2”). He did, but then looked at me and said, “It sucks to be short.” and laughed at me.

Our instructor at the USMC Field Radio Operators School informed us that one of the radios we might end up carrying weighed 96 lbs. I looked around at the other guys in the class are they were all about my size, 5’8” & 150 lbs.
“Hey Sgt Lopez, why don’t you get some BIG guys to carry these things?”
“Because you are a smaller TARGET!”

I remember some TV show where they put hot women and unattractive (like Rosie types) women in various scenarios to see the reaction of who would help. One of the scenarios was the flat tire on the side of the freeway. The hot woman practically caused an accident with several people trying to pull over at once to offer assistance, while cars just sped by the unattractive woman. Similar things happened in each situation.

In Greek mythology, Procrustes attacked people by stretching them or cutting off their legs, so as to force them to fit the size of an iron bed. That was supposed to be a metaphor and an entertaining myth, not a blueprint.
Today’s liberals need to understand that Greek myths, Atlas Shrugged, and 1984 were not meant to be instruction manuals.
