I told Ted Cruz to run for President when I met him in Pennsylvania in 2014. So I’m sharing credit with God on that one.

Please read Judges 13-16, and then get back to me on the kind of people YHWH uses for His own purposes. Donald Trump is definitely a type of Samson, and we need to have the Temple of Dagon brought down on the Philistines.

Now Cruz is the anti-Christ?

Is he your political saviour ? Do you share Rafael Cruz' Dominionism ?

But a thrice “married” man who curses, lies and makes a living off the misery of others in gambling is just fine.

Did you object to Rafael Cruz being twice married and still earning a living selling his religion ? Was he listed as Rafael Jr's (his birth name is Rafael) actual father on the birth certificate ?

Carry on, the cult lives!!

As you write

I think it's shameful to hide your faith. Jesus said as much about people who deny His name.

So we don’t need any railing accusations against Ted Cruz and his tactics. YHWH will take care of this. Not to worry.

This is what she said:

“”We are at a cultural crossroads in our country, and if we can be in this race to show this country the face of the God that we serve—this Christian God that we serve is the foundation of our country,” she said. “Our country was built on Judeo-Christian values. We are a nation of freedom of religion, but the God of Christianity is the God of freedom, of individual liberty, of choice and of consequence.”

Don’t be suckered by TalkingPointsMemo into spreading misinformation about what Heidi Cruz said. She’s saying that the God of the Bible is a God of freedom, individual liberty, and of choice & consequences. She is not even remotely suggesting that Ted Cruz is God.

TPM and the rest of the media will put these deceptive headlines up as long as “conservatives” are suckers enough to not check out what was really said. Don’t let them get by so easily. God is also a God of TRUTH, and His people need to be people of truth as well.

Trump is a type of phony opportunist who was a leftist his whole life who is smart enough to realize in a Republican primary you need to pretend and say conservative sounding things. ( even if they are 180 degrees opposite what you used to believe in )

PT Barnum was right..........

If someone were to misinterpret those remarks, one might view them as Heidi saying Cruz was God or somesuch.

Similarly, one could misread Trump’s comment of today to mean that Trump blamed conservatives.

Neither are true; Heidi is trying to indicate that Ted exhibits the fruits of the Spirit (although she might have phrased it that way...), and Trump pointed out that plenty of people lately have run on a conservative agenda, gotten elected, and then entirely failed to curb Obama, bring the abuses his administration committed to justice, or even enact good legislation of their own.

“I believe with all my heart that standing up for America means standing up for the God who has so blessed our land. We need God’s help to guide our nation through stormy seas. But we can’t expect Him to protect America in a crisis if we just leave Him over on the shelf in our day-to-day living.”
- Ronald Reagan

“Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged.”
- Ronald Reagan

“We seek a constitutional amendment to permit voluntary school prayer. God should never have been expelled from America’s classrooms in the first place.”
- Ronald Reagan

“America has begun a spiritual reawakening. Faith and hope are being restored. Americans are turning back to God. Church attendance is up. Audiences for religious books and broadcasts are growing. And I do believe that he has begun to heal our blessed land.”
- Ronald Reagan

“I was raised to believe that God has a plan for everyone and that seemingly random twists of fate are all a part of His plan.”
- Ronald Reagan

“We might come closer to balancing the budget if all of us lived closer to the Commandments and the Golden Rule.”
- Ronald Reagan

“God’s miracles are to be found in nature itself; the wind and waves, the wood that becomes a tree - all of these are explained biologically, but behind them is the hand of God.”
- Ronald Reagan

Heidi said: “When I thought about doing it for our country, it became very clear to me that our family must be in this race. And it also became clear to me that we are at a cultural crossroads in our country and if we can be in this race to show this country the face of the God that we serve — this Christian God that we serve is the foundation of our country, our country was built on Judeo-Christian values, we are a nation of freedom of religion, but the God of Christianity is the God of freedom, of individual liberty, of choice and of consequence.

And I think that’s something that this country really needs to be reminded of, is that Christians are loving people, are nonjudgmental people, but there is right and wrong, we have a country of law and order, there are consequences to actions and we must all live peaceably in our own faiths under the Constitution. And Ted is uniquely able to deliver on that combination of the law and religion. “

Not ONCE did Ronald Reagan ever say that he was “uniquely able to deliver on that combination of the law and religion.” Ronald Reagan was always humble before his God, and gave thanks to Him every day.

I just posted the quote of what she actually said:

“”We are at a cultural crossroads in our country, and if we can be in this race to show this country the face of the God that we serve—this Christian God that we serve is the foundation of our country,” she said. “Our country was built on Judeo-Christian values. We are a nation of freedom of religion, but the God of Christianity is the God of freedom, of individual liberty, of choice and of consequence.”

And I am counting how many Freepers will care enough about the truth and about slander to even check out her actual words, rather than simply trusting TMP’s headline.

So far, nobody.

And that is sad, for a site that claims to care about the truth, and people who claim to be so incensed by what they claimn are untruths (but often can’t substantiate the lie when asked to do so).

If Reagan was running now, the Trumpists would accuse him of being a theocratic, Bible-thumping preacher.

Maybe she means he’s a real Christian and Christ is reflected in his life. That’s a deeper evangelical notion that has biblical support. If she even said this. Saying this in some church setting would be easier to process than in a campaign setting.
