Meanwhile ignore that Donald Trump has exactly zero provable history as a conservative, but decades of provable history as a barking moonbat liberal. Ignore that he tried to use eminent domain for his own ill gotten gains. Ignore that he cheated on both of his wives, the mothers of his children and bragged about it in his book. Ignore that he has taken both sides of every important issue....Every. Important. Issue. Ignore the fact that the only thing he has used his substantial wealth for, prior to this race, was in support of liberal causes and politicians. Ignore the fact that he gives zero substantive answers detailing exactly HOW he’s gonna do any of the things he’s blowing smoke up your ass about. Ignore the fact that he tells you he’s gonna be a winner...but never really tells you who’s going to benefit from all that “winning”. And ignore that he’s backtracked on most of the crap that he’s been stroking your delicate sensibilities with for the last year. Ignore that he says he’s gonna deport all the illegals (ain’t never gonna happen). And ignore that now he says, oh never mind....I’m only gonna deport the bad ones.
But, hey, he’s gonna build a wall...you know, the same one Cruz has been talking about since he came to the senate...

I can’t conceive of any possible situation where I would chose Cruz over Trump, to lead, follow or get out of the way.

Just look at Franklin Graham stepping away from the GOP. Wonder what the effect of his independent campaign to get Christian voters out on Election Day will be?
It will be mixed, and most probably, counterproductive.
If “they” needed to be cajoled/convinced to do their secular civic duties by the son of a famous preacher...”they” are unlikely to suddenly become serious about national governance.
