Wednesday on CNN’s “Newsroom,†Watergate-famed journalist Carl Bernstein said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is losing to her opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) because of character, to which he described has led to him as “clobbering her.â€

That’ll give Dems another month or two to watch the GOP infighting.
Bernstein says in one sentence the race between Hillary and Sanders is about “character”.......implying that a Liberal has any.
Then he says Sanders is clobbering her on character implying that he has some and she doesn’t.
Then he says it’s amout “message” and she needs to get hers out better, implying that she has a message.
This Bernstein article is a bumper sticker for the “delusion of the Left”.
Also, it looks like Hillary has the superdelegates sewed up, while Bernie will have little or nothing.
The Dem voters have no clue that this is all for show, and already in the bag for Hillary, as ling as she escapes indictment or trial.

If Hillary has anything to do with it, Bernie will die in an accidental plane crash. Hell bill may be on board too, so she can get a two-fer with the sympathy widow vote.
Everyone here on FR (except the liberal trolls) disagree with every political stance Sanders has. Ok? ok. That’s out of the way.
Judging him as a candidate, I agree with this assessment. Most people know a fake when they see it. Most people know authenticity when they see it. The truth spoken by a true believer sounds different. It doesn’t sound rehearsed. It does sound like it comes from the heart.
Sanders is a true believer. He’s Robespierre or Savonarola. He would sooner die than give up his beliefs. His campaign has a strong message (rage against the 1%). When contrasted with Hillary, who has no message, who has no core beliefs other than “advance Hillary”, the clarity of Sanders positions is evident.
At our point in time, everyone is sick to death of slick, fast talking and lying politicians. We are all looking for authenticity. Sanders authentically rages against the 1% and that authenticity gets a lot of people to agree with him. They may not go any deeper than that level of inspection before deciding to support him but their votes for him count the same as if they did.
He’s an emotionally charged guy. Hillary is as robotic and uninspiring as a candidate can be. If those are our only two options, we need her to win the primary. It’s an emotionally charged time. We cannot chance him as the nominee. Many (most?) people don’t dig enough to understand how flawed his stances are. They just hear “The 1%! Economic inequality!” and say “yeah, this guy will fight for me”
His message resonates too well for us to want him as the candidate.
Our best case scenario is Hillary winning a tough primary where she has to use every dirty trick in the book to stop Sanders, alienating his voters to the point where they refuse to vote for her in November.
I don't understand this. Wouldn't the best case scenario for us be SANDERS winning and Hillary losing?

Well, he means that Sanders believes his own BS - while Hillary doesn't. And even a liberal voter can tell the difference.
THE FIX IS IN
This talk of Bernie clobbering Hillary is all just Kabuki theater to let the plantation GOMERS think their votes count.
We all know that behind the scenes Hillary is clobbering Bernie in the delegate count.
Thanks to the democrat party’s corrupt system and the “Super Delegates” loyal to the Clintons, the systen is rigged to give Hillary the nomination no matter how many people vote for Bernie in the primary elections.
Hillary has ten times as many delegates than Sanders and there has only been 1 state caucus and 1 state election.

As I said in what I wrote above, It’s an emotionally charged time and he’s an emotionally fired up true believer. His message will resonate with a lot of people. If he wins the nomination, he will be given the full democrat microphone. Media love without scrutiny, no hard questions, glowing puff pieces about how he was arrested in the 60’s standing up for racial inequality etc...That, combined with the way he’s able to fire up the emotions of the Dems is a bad mix for us.
We do not want this.
In an emotionally charged time, she has no fire. She has no emotion. She has no message other than voting for her because she has lady parts. Also, she will play VERY dirty to beat him which will alienate a lot of people who would otherwise campaign for her, vote for her.
She’s the better candidate to run against.
In reality, there is only a 2 delegates difference that is all.
People recognize authenticity when they see it. Disagree with every word he says but he’s definitely authentic.
Actually it isn’t character and principle, it’s a case of having none.
Meanwhile Hillary’s super delegates are clobbering Bernie.
Speaking of character and principle, why do you suppose Bernstein didn’t investigate more invidious scandals after exposing Nixon’s?
