Ezra Klein IMPLOSION: "The rise of Donald Trump is a terrifying moment in American politics"
Vox ^

Posted on 02/10/2016 11:20:10 PM PST by bryan999

"This, more than his ideology, is why Trump genuinely scares me. There are places where I think his instincts are an improvement on the Republican field. He seems more dovish than neoconservatives like Marco Rubio, and less dismissive of the social safety net than libertarians like Rand Paul. But those candidates are checked by institutions and incentives that hold no sway over Trump; his temperament is so immature, his narcissism so clear, his political base so unique, his reactions so strange, that I honestly have no idea what he would do - or what he wouldn't do."

Oh gosh, Mr. Mature Millennial Moonbat JournoList Smartypantz is having problems predicting the future. Well, he failed to predict Trump's rise at any great length, so I guess that's no surprise.

"I honestly have no idea"

Ha, at least he's finally being honest.

He actually gets paid to write this garbage?

quoting: “ his temperament is so immature, his narcissism so clear, his political base so unique, his reactions so strange, that I honestly have no idea what he would do - or what he wouldn’t do.”

supposedly the author wrote this about Mr. Trump. But is the author perhaps recycling a column he wrote in 2007/8?

The best I can suggest for the author is to spray his shorts with a stain remover before washing.

Does anyone really know what Trump represents or where he will land on any issue?

He was building a wall and throwing out illegals. Then he was deporting them and bringing them back.

Is he pro-abortion? Who knows.

He says tariffs, but that’s not possible and displays an incredible lack of knowledge, but who cares?

You Trump Drones, don’t ever ever ever complain about DC politicians selling out. You are the biggest sellouts ever, ever, ever, ever.

What a bunch of hypocrits!!!!

He’s for Common Core tonight in SC but probably not tomorrow.

His lack of knowledge and lack of any discernable plan? Who cares. We just like the Con.

P. T. Barnum is right. A sucker really is born among “Conservatives”. What a bunch of saps.

One thing I am certain Trump WILL do:

Abide by the Constitution.

I think he respects it. A thousand times more than Obama does.

And if he gets out of line ... He has PLENTY of us to remind him.

Words of an idiot.

Subjective arrogance.

That is to say nothing

>> I honestly have no idea what he would do - or what he wouldn’t do

Coward

Ezra is a nice name. Too bad it’s bound to an idiot.

I can understand the Establishment's fear & loathing regarding Trump. There's no precedent for him.
The truth of the matter is, is that the American public has grown accustomed to a log line of suave, eloquent, highly intelligent, elitist, lying Sophists for too long.
Trump is indeed a loose canon and he is not polished, we have, until now, adored “polished”. That gleaming Presidential quality has caused this country to nose dive yet, in a sweet and eloquent way.
Trump is an unpredictable, brash and in your face Bronx, New Yorker. He is a spoiled imbecile sometimes BUT... and this is a big but, he is a patriot and has adopted the Teddy Roosevelt approach.
America is indeed at the crossroads and we need a tough, somewhat unpredictable (for our growing enemies’ list) leader.
Trump is a huge risk but in a post-Obama world, it may perhaps be the remedy for our ongoing paralysis.

I wonder who is paying these Left Wingnuts to write this stuff? This fantasy talk is from a thought process of an alternate reality. Folks, we don’t need to worry about aliens from the Mother Ship hiding in the population, we have people in the fantasy world of the Unicorn Farm. And, if Trump’s opponents are paying to have someone write this stuff, I worry more.

Sheesh, pal, take a break with that... I saw your posts in other threads. You’re infuriating.

You want Hillary or Bernie the Communist in the White House? If no, then it’s all aboard the Trump Express ! Grab a seat, sit back and enjoy the ride!

It’s time to nail liberal weenies like Ezra Klein down and expose their feeble minds! We finally have the opportunity because Trump has our back !!!

Trump is listening to conservatives all over the country. You can hear it in his speeches. Are you watching ?? I haven’t been this excited about an election in my entire life and I’ve been voting since the late 1980s!

There’s more to this election than the whole abortion issue. If we lose our borders and our economy drains, trust me, there’s going to be a lot more abortions.

Dead wrong.

At Clemson University he said Common Core was headed for the dustbin of history.

“But those candidates are checked by institutions and incentives that hold no sway over Trump”

Translation: all the other candidates except Trump are beholden to the campaign financiers who purchased their services.

See, even that enemedia tool Ezra Klein gets it. Of course Klein thinks a President who hasn’t been purchased by the plutocrats and oligarchs is a bad thing.

“One thing I am certain Trump WILL do:

I don’t think Trump has any understanding of the Constitution. When Trump was asked why he was conservative, he said something about conserving things. I don’t think he has any concept of limited government.

Thank goodness we can predict with such accuracy what all the others will do. They all do exactly what we send them to do.
Oh wait,,,,they never do.

Well, isn't that following the law? Deport illegals, and let them return when they have waited in line like they were supposed to to begin with?

What's so hard to understand about that?
