If conservatism is your bag, if conservatism is the dominating factor in how you vote, there is no other choice for you in this campaign than Ted Cruz, because you are exactly right: This is the closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan.

I would be stunned if Cruz would accept the VP slot. He knows as well as anyone that Trump is a low life opportunist and can't be counted on to make the changes necessary to achieve a limited fed. govt. Trump can't even define conservatism. Cruz would be much better off following Reagan's example.
At this point in time that polll is worthless.
I know many independents and democrats who will vote for Trump. NONE of then will vote for Cruz.
This election is about jobs and Trump is much better than Cruz on this issue.
This election is not just about jobs. There are many issues this time around that are important.
If we don’t get control of our borders and the burgeoning population, its not gonna matter.
I assume Rush is talking about those pandering, lying, cringing, sold-out, PC, DC insider establishment “true conservatives” in Congress who continuously stabs we American workers in the back, right?
Or is Rush talking about those “true conservatives” in Congress who stood up to Obama and stopped his agenda by passing a budget that eviscerated his illegal immigration policies, eliminated the energy-destroying EPA, eliminated the Marxist propaganda Education Department, eliminated the job-destroying Labor Department, eliminated the racist Civil Rights Commission, defunded the FCC until they give back control of the Internet to private industry, defunded Obamacare, defunded enforcement of 99% of Obama’s regulations and Executive Orders?
I wonder which of those two groups of “true conservatives” in Congress Rush is referring to. Or is there some OTHER, third group of “true conservatives” in Congress that Rush is referring to? Some group of “true conservatives” that have done amazingly wonderful, “true conservative” things that have marvelously benefited the people of our country?
I heard Levin a few minutes driving home tonight. Wow! A total rip with no redeeming qualities of the donnie.
Jobs will be the deciding issue because its the one that directly affects the most people.
Cruz is real strong on social issues but those issues are mostly decided by the States or the Surpreme Court not the President.
In other words, your mind is made up...and you don't want to go to the trouble of having to change it.

So Reagan’s conservatism didnt help? A Conserative POTUS is the only way to bring this country back from the brink. If Trump wins the nom over Cruz, I will vote for him but I just dont trust his background.
