Christie would serve at Trump’s pleasure. Of that I have no doubt. My admiration is for his delivery which was very effective and could be harnessed for good purposes.
Christie might be in hot water with the GOPE now, after he took down their new establishment boy Rubio.

The man has done everything including stomach surgery to work on his weight. Sometimes it isn’t the person’s fault. He’s a good guy; he took out Rubio for the country, not for himself as it didn’t help him.
He’s the opposite of a Bush or Rubio.
I like him, I hope Trump wins and gives him a great position.

That sounds like a conservative state. Why is so liberal?
That is a very pertinent question.
Notice I qualified my statement by saying I live in southern DE.
DE has three counties. I live in Sussex the bottom of DE, and is the least populated of the three counties. The northern county, New Castle, has Wilmington and is the most populous and is very Democrat and very liberal.
The middle county, Kent, is purple.
Sussex is red.
Like many states, we have different areas with different political outlooks.
In DE’s case, the conservative south is almost always overshadowed by the more populous liberal north.
Thus you have Biden, Carper and Coons.
I live in an island of relative sanity.
I have heard Oregon and Washington state are the same way.
