Wednesday, February 10, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally at Clemson University. The event will take place inside the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, SC and is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM EST.

Another small town meeting for The Donald. Pendleton SC, population is 2,964. For centuries, the land that is now Pendleton was the territory of the Cherokee nation. After England claimed South Carolina as a colony, the Cherokee traded with the British. After the Cherokee lost the war of 1759-60 against the British, the British dominated trade in the region and began to settle more of the land with large farms.

I wish Trump wasn’t staying to sign things and was nowhere near that freak. Hopefully, his people / security will see a repeat of tonight’s event and make sure this doesn’t happen again.
So the guy in the blue jacket and blue shirt to the right of Trump... Is he from the jeb or Rubio campaign. Pretending to fall asleep? Absolutely an infantile given the energy in that place. Can’t wait to find out which campaign sent him.
Great rally but I was a nervous wreck watching that guy behind him.
The dirty little secret is that NO ONE has an alternative to Obamacare because it’s too late. You cannot simply return to “Go.” Too many people have lost policies and too many companies have gone out of business. If the government mandates (uh oh) that companies pick up where they left off, well, it’s six years since those people had policies. How many of them are sicker? How many have terminal illnesses?
You see? there is no “reset” button, for Cruz or Trump. To be fair, both have (wrongly) claimed that you can have “portability.” Impossible, unless it’s the same company. But you can’t leave company A and its insured pool, take a job with company B and a much different insured pool, and expect the same benefits.
Obama and the Dems knew this when the freakn’ program lasted more than a year. That’s why all these tricks like Rubio’s “rick corridors” are meaningless. It’s here to stay in some form or another.
I had Friday after school choir practice and conformation classes, Saturday night was MYF ( Methodist Youth Fellowship ), Sunday was Sunday School, more choir practice, the service, and late afternoon MYF.

I know Dave. He is a good guy, but his interpretations of conservatism are strongly laced with his version of Christianity. So naturally for him Cruz comes closer than Trump.

Me too! My eyes have been glued on the guy and the two behind that I lost part of the speech. I was relieved that Trump finished but then I got nervous again when the guy hurried away to the steps.

It’s beside the point now. If you think Trump is going to continue letting in Islamists then that’s on you. I don’t believe he will. I think he will try to stop it.
I think Trump has the most to LOSE personally in this race. His name, brand and lifetime’s worth of work is in the balance. He doesn’t have to do this. He doesn’t have to waste his money on this race.
Whatever rough edges he has are minor, IMHO. I want a POTUS who hasn’t set foot in D.C. Everyone else running is a professional politician and that’s a turn off.

Good analysis. I’m also of the opinion that this National disgust for do-nothing repulicans is far deeper than Rush recognizes and Trump has taken the issue and it belongs to him. In other words Trump embodies Jacksonian politics, and I see history paralelling itself with this election cycle.
