The SuperDelegate system they have is to prevent people like Bernie from a getting a chance. I don't think it will be a 1968 revisit, but probably a digital inferno. It will be interesting, it's also not like the GOP convention will be pretty as well.

Yes, it’s to stop people like Bernie, but it’s also more generally a way for the party regulars to control the outcome for any reason. For example, if the Dem leadership decides that Hillary can’t win the election, they can block her via the superdelegates.
You’re right that both parties have their share of infighting right now.
