Dr. Ben Carson will not be attending his own primary night party at the Carson HQ in New Hampshire tonight. The retired neurosurgeon will instead be flying to South Carolina this afternoon, Politico reports. There, he will be meeting with fellow GOP presidential contender Sen. Ted Cruz on Thursday.

It would be difficult for Carson to throw his support behind cruz now. But I can’t rule it out.
Vice presidential interview with the putative nominee?
At least you have a good sense of humor ...
Carson wants to be VP. He is playing even that badly. I predict he will endorse Trump with the hope of being his VP. Here is another prediction: Trump won’t pick him. He will use him and then throw him something small. If he picked him the media would endlessly play the “Carson’s pathology similar to a child molester” Trump quotes.
All those insults thrown out by Trump the Insult-Comic Dog could come back to bite him, as more of the insultees drop out of the race.
Yeah, not after the last debate , where all of the candidates ,except Trump, ran past Carson ... Trump stood with Carson
Ben’s a good guy, but he’s not gonna be anybody’s VP, that’s for sure.
Third place tonight is above expectations for Cruz. I’m enjoying a beer. Tomorrow I work on raising another $20,000 so he has more funds for South Carolina.
He’s meeting with Cruz. The question is “Who requested the meeting?”
Is Ted going to beg him for his support?
Or will Ben offer Ted his support for a cabinet/VP position?
Carson would never pick Cruz at this point.
Not a lot of respect displayed to his volunteers IMHO.
I would not want Carson in a position to become president, he just doesn’t have what it takes.
I think you misunderstood my post. Carson is only headed back to retirement in Florida, along with Huckabee.
Trump didn’t stand by Carson; Trump wanted to be the last one to come o.

Which Republican candidate has not insulted Trump?
He could have been a contender, but he has blown it.
“The question is âWho requested the meeting?â
Cruz.
