I am very worried tonight for the Cruz supporters here on Free Republic. Someone should set up some type of support hotthread where they can band together. I read so many posts from Cruzers who were certain that Trump would under-perform tonight and that Ted would somehow win. Tonight it is like they ran head first into a brick wall. These are not people who are known to be gracious losers. So lets all try to keep this in mind as they strike out with vitriol that will no doubt be vicious. Just try to be supportive and try to respond in ways that will calm them.
Sanders has quite the scam going on - he’s raging against the billionaires and the banks and the corporations, but most of their money will go to him or whoever the Dem nominee is.
I’m not sure but I think you may be partially joking. And I was very put off by Carsongate. But on the other hand, if I weren’t supporting Trump, I would be supporting Cruz. If I could have someone who believed exactly like I do in there, it would be Cruz. But I just think Trump will be so much more effective at getting elected and also at being president. And frankly, we need Cruz in the Senate.
