I grew up in a Republican home. My father always did qualify for social programs, never once did we go get food stamps, rent support, or free lunch at school. When the poverty line was 10,000 per annum, and LBJ was working hard to wipe out poverty, the home I grew up in was never to take anything the gov’t offered, as it wouldn’t be long and we would all be enslaved, and entitlement would creep in. All of the boys and the one girl grew up to be very prosperous citizens. Hard work, planning and keeping family together...paid off. The family is the center for wealth not the government.
My granddaughter is whinny, never happy and throws tantrums...

I’ve never understood why it’s greedy to want to keep your own money but it’s not greedy to want to elect someone to take someone else’s money.
Don’t worry, Mika. If she expects the government to take care of you when you get old, she’s a Democrat.

Obviously we here see the projection going on by Mika. Probably considered therapy for the kid. However, I’d bet she’d be aghast at the idea of therapy for a little girl who identified as a boy.
Reminds me of something I saw online a while ago. (I didn’t write this)
I recently asked my neighbors’ little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, are liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, “If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?”
She replied, “I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.”
Her parents beamed with pride.
“Wow…what a worthy goal.” I told her, “But you don’t have to wait until you’re President to do that! You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I’ll pay you $50. Then I’ll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.”
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, “Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?”
I said, “Welcome to Conservatism.”
Her parents still aren’t speaking to me.
My kids are conservatives through and through.
They receive some participation awards at school, all three threw them in the trash.
I’m sure lib kids kept theirs.
Sometimes lols & hahahas are sooo inadequate.

Looks via wikipedia that she’s got a daughter in college and one graduating from high school.
So pretty funny that one of them is a Republican—good for whichever one it is!
What drove both my kids (21 and 18) into conservatism was the Leftist group-think, oppressive PC teachers (and now professors).
I always told my kids to learn to think for themselves and QUESTION EVERYTHING.
The Leftists enrage them by telling them WHAT to think, and its usually illogical nonsense.
If she blamed her theft on her brother, said she was a victim of a patriarchy, then went out drinking with a bunch of arab men and got raped and then blamed the Jews, then she’s a Democrat.
