Intelligence director warns of 'likely' Islamic State plot to strike in U.S. in 2016

WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- In testimony before Congress on Tuesday, National Intelligence Director James Clapper said the Islamic State will likely attempt an attack on U.S. soil this year and that North Korea has restarted a plutonium reactor.

Clapper said the Islamic State has been infiltrating migrant groups posed as refugees fleeing from Iraq and Syria in efforts to spread across borders. He warned the foremost terrorist threat to the United States is the Islamic State and its eight branches, including Boko Haram, which changed its name to the Islamic State West Africa Province after formally pledging allegiance in 2015.

Obama is doing all that he can with open borders, almost no illegal immigration enforcement and bringing in Syrian so called refugees to promote an attack. It could be said that he is collaborating with the terrorists to encourage mass casualties.

Well since the borders are officially now open I guess we can expect ISIS to visit.

Being nice to Muslims is a big mistake. They take it as weakness.

My husband and I lived in the KSA for five years, working for ARAMCO. I worked with thirty Saudi men for those years. ARAMCO only hired men (from wherever) who were AT LEAST 26 years old.

They would not allow the 14+ years old children of Aramcons to live in the KSA. They had to go to high school and college OUT of the Kingdom. Those children could ONLY visit their parents at Christmas and in the summer.

They had severe dress codes for everyone. NATURALLY the American girls broke those rules whenever they felt like it. Their parents were punished if it happened too often and they were all sent home. Stupid teenage girls. Part of my job was overseeing the visiting teenagers. The few stupids ruined a lot of things for everyone.

American oilmen have been in the KSA since the 1920's so the Saudis in the Eastern Province (mostly NOT Sunnis) were very used to Americans.
EVERYONE had a one-week orientation so there were NO surprises...just stupid teenage girls and some stupid couples who INSISTED on smuggling in drugs.

My Saudi boss was the only who allowed me to take time off work to go to daily Mass. The Saudis don't allow priests, vicars and reverends in the Kingdom because it is forbidden.
SO those priests, vicars and reverends were simply called SPECIAL TEACHERS and conducted their weekly services...daily Mass for us Catholics.

That is where I picked up the habit of DAILY MASS, from my Muslim boss. I still attend daily Mass here at home but when I hear some folks going after Islam and Muslims I have to remember my kind boss.

Btw, my Saudi boss was illiterate but he was VERY smart and had a first class memory, so when he had things he had to do that day I would READ the list to him and he would remember them all. The list was sometimes fifteen things he had to do: meetings, observations and so on.

I knew oil people in Saudi and some of them were permitted to practice Christianity by their bosses, although they had to be pretty discreet. It was usually done only within the oil or military compounds, although I’m not sure now how much the US military permits Christian practice.

There are probably just men everywhere who are kind and respectful and if somebody doesn’t threaten them, they don’t threaten that person. I’m not sure this would happen now, though, because Islam has gotten much more powerful and militant and cracks down not only on non-Muslims but on kindly Muslims.

“Have you heard of Marshall Law?”

I’ve heard of the Marshall Plan and I’ve heard of Martial Law. But I’ve never heard of Marshall Law.

Yep. States run the elections, not the feds.
