agreed! It can't be said enough what a fine job Sean Penn did working with Mexican authorities to lure El Chapo into an elaborate trap under the cover of “journalism”. But credit also to the outstanding role Rolling Stone played in the ruse. My they all get the rewards that they so richly deserve.
I would like to send him a big thank you, anyone got his address.

El Chapo was trying to promote himself in order to use his popularity in an attempt to intimidate the Mexican government.
Presidente Peña for his part was insulted that El Chapo made him look like a fool to los gringos del norte, who are funding his drug war, the proceeds from which he is probably skimming millions and so was looking to get even.
As for La Reina Del Sur, she is owned by El Chapo and if she is smart, says what she is told to say, in this case that she has been "betrayed".
Everybody has an agenda.
