Former Mexican President: We're Not Paying for 'Stupid' Wall
NBC News ^ | 8 Feb 2016 | by Brian Latimer

A former Mexican president had some tough words when asked about GOP candidate Donald Trump's much-touted plan to build a border wall that he says will be paid for by Mexico.

"We are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall! And it's going to be completely useless," said former Mexican president Felipe Calderón when asked about this at the AmCham Egypt for Business Conference on Sunday.

Calderón told CNBC's Hadley Gamble his country will not be funding the construction of the wall, also adding that while Trump blames Mexican migration for the majority of illegal immigration into the U.S., the net migration between the countries has flipped. According to a Pew Research report in November, more Mexicans were emigrating from the U.S. than entering.

Do you really think they really lower their price to consumers when they go to Mexico?

The burden is the Corporate Tax. And we lose twice because Mexican workers in Mexico aren't contributing taxes to the US coffers.

Former Mexican President: We're Not Paying for 'Stupid' Wall

No, I'm afraid it won't be a 'Stupid' wall senor, but a wall to keep your 'Stupid' compadres OUT! And as for paying, well you know that $21.6 BILLION sent back to mexico by illegal aliens each year, well consider that 'seed money' for the wall!

Hell, we just halt all foreign aid to Mexico for the years we’re constructing it, that should put a significant dent in the cost.

That, Mr. President of Mexico, is an endorsement for Trump. Please also say something nice about Cruz.

Mexican Leaders would prefer their Rube to be our president!

Rubio promises to keep Obama's executive amnesty for Dreamers:

In a little-noticed interview earlier this year with Univision, Jorge Ramos, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) declared that, as President, he would keep Barack Obama executive amnesty for DREAMers in place until it was permanently codified through legislation.

Jorge Ramos is the Univision Open Borders thug, who was thrown out of a presser by Trump last year.

Direct aid is just a drop in the bucket.

Remittances to Latin America Recover -- but Not to Mexico

1. Overview

Remittances to Spanish-speaking Latin American countries overall have recovered from a decline during the recent recession, with the notable exception of Mexico, according to World Bank data analyzed by the Pew Research Center.

Migrants' remittances to Mexico, an estimated $22 billion in 2013, are 29% below their 2006 peak. For all other Spanish-speaking Latin American nations overall, the 2013 estimate of $31.8 billion slightly surpasses the 2008 peak.

Remittances from all sources to Spanish-speaking Latin American countries have more than doubled since 2000 but remain below their peak in 2007, the year in which the U.S. Great Recession began. The 2013 estimated total ($53.8 billion) is 13% below 2007's $61.6 billion (in 2013 U.S. dollars).

The United States is the most important source of money sent home by migrants to the 17 Latin American nations as a group (including Mexico) that are the focus of this report. U.S. remittances accounted for three-quarters of the total in 2012 -- $41 billion out of $52.9 billion, according to World Bank data.

Of course Mexico doesn’t want a wall. How else would they get rid of their least productive and criminal elements?

A rail line to support the transportation of necessary goods and personnel to and from the previously mentioned garrisons. For example, a garrison in the middle of the desert will need food, medical supplies and equipment. In addition, people will need to be moved both border patrol officers too and from the garrison, along with aliens caught and arrested.

Then why does *he* care whether the wall gets built? LIAR!

No, because subsequent administrations will go right back to doing the globalists’ bidding.

Zero tolerance.
Cut off ALL foreign aid to Mexico. Cut off aid to Central & South America based on the numbers coming here from individual countries.
Cut off all ‘’public assistance’’ (initially) to non-citizens. This isn’t Europe.
Surcharge ALL remittances back to Mexico AT 50-75%.
Think about how fast that wall will be paid for & MAINTAINED with that savings.

If Trump is elected, he can only serve 2 terms. His vice president MAY be able to serve 2 terms. That would give us potentially 16 years to get the corruption out of Washington DC. It may be less. That is NOT going to be an easy task.
This is our legacy to America.

If Trump is elected, the flood of foreigners will stop.
If Cruz or one of the others is elected, the flow will increase. ALL of them except Trump are owned by globalists. That is who they serve, NOT US.
Believe your eyes.
They told us the truth the FIRST time & they’ve already SHOWN us what their intentions are.
Now they are saying what they KNOW people want to hear. It’s lies.

Or, more importantly - at least to Mexican elites, we cut off the flow of money from Mexicans to Mexico...

“I’m going to look at the data.”

That net minus immigration from Mexico had been circulating for a while. I’m betting the source numbers are cooked from Obama’s version of border “apprehensions”.

NAFTA says that any party may withdraw after giving one year’s notice. I am sure Trump is aware of this.

It might be a drop in the bucket, but it's the easiest block of money to make the Mexican government regret losing. If they have to watch Trump build a wall with their money for a few years, they might be easier to work with in the future, or at least more respectful.

Maybe we should charge a transaction fee (a tax) for all money transfers from the US to Mexico? That will pay for the wall.

Good plan. 15% for the states where the free loaders live and another 15% to pay for the wall Trump will have built.
