AlanGreenSpam @75: "Good point, but wouldn't it be difficult to transport an ICBM to the Middle East from NK?"

The ICBM doesn't need to be transported all the way to the Middle East to be used by the purchaser. After all, that's why "IC" is part of the acronym.

US frees N Korean vessel carrying missiles - Thu, Dec 12, 2002,

http://www.irishtimes.com/news/us-frees-n-korean-vessel-carrying-missiles-1.1107134

“The United States reluctantly handed over a boatload of Scud missiles to Yemen yesterday after the Yemeni government promised the weapons would not end up in the hands of terrorists.

Following high-level talks between the two governments, the US navy was ordered by Washington to release the unflagged cargo ship, which was carrying the Scuds from North Korea when it was stopped by two Spanish warships on Monday in the Arabian Sea and searched.

US concerns about the shipment centred on fears the Scuds could be mounted with warheads filled with chemical, biological or nuclear materials by Iraq or another rogue state or terrorist organization.”

In fact , Cruz brought this up in the debate, not much reporting about it though.

I agree that something along those lines would get their attention. What else, I don’t know. China has the idea it is going to be the mover and shaker this century.

We better hope not.

DANG! I missed that! Cruz brought up chinagate?? If you have a moment will you please post anything Cruz did say about chinagate. Chinagate is my 'cup of tea' so to speak. I must have 150 fr threads from back then, each one concerning Chinagate. (and I've got those files backed up big time lol) I also find myself frequently rereading all through our brillant fr member/historian -Alamo-girl. Alamo-girl.com is a must read for all lurkers! Heck, Alamo-girl.com should be required reading in all high school history classes.

This thread is just about finished up and few posters coming - so heck, we can sit here for hours and just discuss Chinagate, lol. And I’ve got some new and very interesting details about Chinagate I’ve come across.
