Debate Crowd Boos, Trump Hits Back: ‘That’s All Jeb’s Donors and Special Interests’
Breitbart ^ | Feb 6 2016 | John Nolte

Posted on 02/06/2016 7:46:50 PM PST by WilliamIII

During Saturday night’s ABC News debate, Donald Trump and former-Governor Jeb Bush got into a feisty exchange on the issue of eminent domain. Bush hit Trump for his use (or attempted use) of eminent domain to enrich his casino business in Nevada. Trump responded by saying, “Jeb wants to be a tough guy tonight. I didn’t take the property.” Boos then rained down on The Donald, who was ready. Pointing at the audience, Trump charged…

That’s all of his donors and special interests out there. So, that’s what it is. And by the way, let me just tell you, we needed tickets. You can’t get them. You know who has the tickets to the television audience? Donors, special interests, the people that are putting up the money. That’s who.

Yeah. He really is what a Republican candidate was in the 60’s and 70’s. Of course back then many of these social issues were a foreign idea. Who would have thunk we would have sunk so low.

IMHO Christie would be much higher in the polls if it wasn’t for his weight. For awhile last year it looked like he was going to slim down a bit.

You know...I believe if he really wanted to, he could cause Kelly to go ballistic and lose all composure...

Or make her cry......

“They€™re taking the booing of Trump seriously and saying (once again) that Trump is finished.”

WTF? I am watching Fox News right now.....I turned it immediately after the debate. These ABC pundit's are just trying to protect Hillary. They see now that Trump would beat her easily and thought that they would get weak Rubio who was in Trump's best way....a disaster. lol.....sorry but had to steal from the great Trump. That is why they are trying to downplay the best debate Trump has done.

Trump won the debate. He came across as most presidential.

On that side of things, I feel for him.......losing weight is bad enough. Keeping it off is pure torture especially since (I suspect) he has probably been heavy since 10 years old.

As far as being elected, it may turn some voters off but he may actually get some of the blue collar workers who understand that life is not perfect and we are not all cut outs. Well see. I mean one debate does not make a candidate so well see. NH is a strange place voting wise. Hell they still might chose Rubio as number 2.

How do y’all think Trump did???

A mile wide, but an inch deep. All hat, no cattle. All style, no substance. All attitude, but no specifics. Trump may not have a clue what he'd do when president, but it'd be youge! And we'll win! And America will be Great Again! Bla, bla, bla.

I understand the appeal, to stick it to the establishment. I want nothing less! But on nearly any subject, he has lots of attitude, but no specifics. You don't really know what we'll get with a President Trump, other than attitude.

You'd be surprised.

Did anyone else notice? After Trump pointed out that the audience boos were special interest people, the audience boos decreased considerably? Was it just me? That is why people are enthusiastic about Trump. He is
totally on to any machinations going on. And will let people know it.

I was very glad that Trump brought up who the audience was. I heard them boo him and was confused since he’s popular in NH. Once he brought that out, then I understood. Shrewd observation and announcement.

I was also impressed with his China/NK answer. He came out with that like he was the only one who actually understood the relationship there.

Christie did a good job. I think his ratings might have gone up. He was sharp, he was on top of it.

Rubio was a disappointment. He’s so used to the campaign trail he forgot his purpose as did Trump a time or two. I thought he’d do better than he did, and was anxious to hear what he had to say. Now, I’m not at all impressed.

Cruz,...the establishment’s candidate..the guy who talks a good talk but gets nothing done. I know way too many people just like him. He started out strong, but fizzled.

Kashich..boring!

Carson, a very nice man but he’s not a president. I really liked what he said about doing right, but he’s too easy to blind side as a result of his own honesty. He is able to address issues, but I’m afraid he really needs to sharpen up on being aware of his surroundings and the snakes he’d be having to deal with. He has to be able to see them coming, and that’s just not going to happen with him.

As it sits with me, Trump is shrewd, Christy is shrewd, both are probably good chess players. Rubio needs to mature a few years and I’m not talking chronological age. Kashich doesn’t have the mental energy, bush is just...pathetic...Carson is too nice and Cruz is a snake. I’m sure he’s good for something, but its not as senator, nor president.

Admittedly, I missed the intros. Carson, indeed, was ignored.>>> Not how i heard the scene. they announced carson but he did not hear it and then when he tried ti emerge they announced curz i think the D just stopped realizing that something was amis and carson should go out first the rest just did the automaton politician crap. my assessment on watching the video was there were only two human beings trump and carson. sorry.

I wonder how much his perceived hugging of obumer after hurricane sandy may have to do with the lower numbers?

For me it was huge....It made him a non-starter for me.

But he sure looks better than everyone else outside of Trump/Cruz. Not that it’s saying much. But I do like his tenacity and shrewdness, if nothing else.

Was Trump wrong?

Nope, he was correct. I switched over to CNN while Fox had the new Shrub on to talk bad about Trump. They confirmed that the audience was loaded with donor class types. I would HOPE that they wouldn't have confirmed that without some sort of proof, but it IS CNN (bought and paid for by the same donor class folks). Take that for what it is worth.

Most of the audience were birds of a feather.

THe audience was loaded with GOPe donor class.

However Trump is wrong on supporting eminent domain. He obfuscates by trying to equate using eminent domain to build the Nations superhighway or a bridge. Kelo which Trump supports is about seizing private property for real estate developers like him. This is abusing peoples private property rights.

HE is wrong that people get paid above market value/ I know people who have had their property and they didn’t get market value. Which is very much besides the point Property Rights are supposed be protected by the Constitution, but crpny capitalist like Trump are wither blind or could care less.

It was in Atlantic City, not Nevada. If I remember correctly the old lady sold a few years later and got about a third of what Trump offered her.

And I’m sure eminent domain played a big part in W’s Texas Rangers baseball stadium.
