OK Mr. Trump -- riddle me this -- how does someone who, by your lights, is not a natural born citizen get to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency?

I’d like to see Jeff Sessions as VP.

Maybe someone else has other suggestions.

Anyone who thinks Cruz is not going to use Trump’s statement against Trump is naive.

“You can’t trust Trump to do what he says he will do because he can’t decide from day to day whether he likes me or not.”

Everybody on Free Republic is an idiot!

I did not say that everybody on Free Republic was an idiot. I never said that. I don’t know what you are talking about. This is old news!

I suppose if you’re cool with a Canadian VP who could not legally succeed you, that makes perfect sense.

Great point !

Trump needs to start reading FR. Then he would become a really great president.

Also, I would not wish the job of ribbon-cutting VPOTUS on anybody. Even if VP becomes POTUS, Congress can find new POTUS.

Noting that USAG under current administration has arguably done more harm to state state sovereignty and personal rights than anybody else in DC (corrections welcome), Cruz needs to become AG to repair the damage.

After Cruz repairs damage caused by previous AG, he can become justice.

I think what’s really going on here is that AllahPundita nd the Red State creeps are making too much out of 2 sentences, when Trump still seems to be beating the crap out of Cruz on his twitter page.

Guessing he’s realizing attacking the one guy in the race with a contingent known to sit home at election time wasn’t the smartest path. Or he realizes it this week. Who knows what next week brings.

The guy he should actually attack is the one with the same ability to draw the same liberal/moderates as him. Rubio. Because he’s not getting the conservative vote with Cruz.

Mr Trump, John Kerry would like his flip flops back.

Actually, his ability to do a quick political 180 when it benefits him is 1 more thing he has in common with his good friend Hillary

Bi-polar, narcissist, megalomaniac, and probably a sociopath.

Trump may not be mentally unbalanced but he sure as hell is immature, spoiled to the point of entitlement, and petty.

The reason why Trump was so nice to Ted for so long was he wanted him as his VP.

When Ted let him know that he would not trumpet Trump, he got the old Trump treatment.

How would Trump be in dealings with foreign leaders? He wants to build a 100 million dollar ballroom at the White House so he can wine and dine and sweet talk all the foreign leaders into complying with his will.

Of course, he won't spend his own money for the 100 million dollar ballroom, but he will want a fancy deal-making room to fit his huge, deal-making ego.

But what if he runs into a foreign leader who can't be sweet-talked and charmed?

Foreign leaders will consider him a fool.

Anyone who has to have their ego stroked continuously makes for a very unstable leader.

The more I read about Trump the more I don't like him.

Cruz lives inside Trump’s malleable mind. Trump true believers will miss the latest flip flop by their liberal candidate. It’s a hoot watching Trump flop on the bank like a big mouthed bass.
