Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is showing no signs of slowing his criticism of Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) over hard-edged tactics employed during the recent Iowa Caucuses. Carson confidant Armstrong Williams is leading some of the attacks, while suggesting Carson will raise the issue at the upcoming Feb. 6 New Hampshire GOP debate.

Dr. Carson: you have about as much chance of winning the nomination now as Jim Gilmore has. Please quit while you're ahead: if anything, Ted Cruz probably shares your values more than anyone else in the field. Quit whining, get on board with Cruz, Trump, Rubio, or whoever, and direct your fire at the 'Rats.

... well, looks like the winner made a good hire then! Reporting what was in a CNN broadcast and then discussed by anchors is not a nepharious operation. Sounds like a good caucus tactic to me. Such whining while the BubbleBoy gets no heat for his crew tweeting it first??!

After Carson’s assistant was killed in that accident a few weeks back, I got the sense that Carson was out of the race. I’m not sure why I had that impression, but it seemed to me that he had dropped out. Maybe I’m not the only one who felt his campaign had fallen apart and he had stepped aside? idk
All this feigned outrage about Cruz reporting the truth: Carson left the race after Iowa, just as reported, both by CNN and Cruz.
He’s still not in NH.
Walk out of a Presidential primary for 6 days after the first contest, and you aren’t serious about running. Why should anyone in Iowa vote for that?
Cruz was right to point it out.
Carson dropped out. He still hasn’t dropped back in. The news story was accurate. So was the Cruz Team interpretation of it.
Everything else is posturing for political advantage.
I hadn’t seen a televised statement from Carson for quite a while before the accident.
Nice take. The evidence is all there for a criminal complaint. Cruz was caught w/ his pants down. Cruz had victory without triumph.

Karl Rove, not a Trump fan by any means, explained how the Cruz cheating could have cost Donald the election.
The Cruz Campaign tweeted: Press says Carson is going to take a break...... so tell all the Carson people to campaign with Cruz.
But Rove explains that at 7:53 the Carson people send out a release saying, We/re here. We/re staying in the race. We/re going to New Hampshire and South Carolina.
And at 8:20 Cruz campaign chief Steve King tweets deceptively: It looks like Carson is getting out of the race...... knowing full well this was inaccurate.
Cruz characteristically lies.....said we sent it to our team, insinuating this had to do with sending it out to staff members.
W-r-o-n-g...says Rove. The Cruz team sent this to nearly 1,500 Cruz precinct captains.
Now why does that matter? The gap between Trump and Cruz is 6,239 votes. There are 1,500 precincts. Do the math. If that message cost Carson four votes per precinct to switch to Cruz, then Cruz beats Trump. If opportunistic Cruz hadn/t manipulated those four votes, he/d be the loser.
You probably got that impression, because Carson quit campaigning. He has pretty much dropped out already, but refuses to make the announcement, and for some reason is instead using this media created faux story to bash Cruz.
Cruz/s wife is on hiatus from her $700,000 Goldman Sachs globalist lawyer job. Is the Cruz campaign paying her?
Sweet co-founded the Chertoff Group w/ Michael Chertoff....Chertoff is Obam/s ex-DHS Secy. Sweet advocated for expanding NSA metadata collection.
FYI---Chertoff and Sweet are raking in millions ..... from those much-maligned whole body imaging scanners being used to perform full-body scans of airline passengers to detect hidden weapons, and the like.
Chertoff went from public employee to buck-raking enterpreneur in a nanosecond.

That’s exactly what he is trying to do. His money and supporters have dried up, and he thinks this will get him more of both. He blew through all his money, and it seems he is not ready to give up the life yet. Including, his secret service detail.
He seems to really like everything about running for president except actually campaigning.

Does he have a list of everyone who switched their vote to Cruz because they believed the CNN story?
And you think his wife didn’t show up at a precinct they already knew was favorable to them? I wonder what the racial breakdown of that one was.

I remember hearing that he had suspended his campaign for a while. I wondered at the time if that was the correct word.
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one confused by this brouhaha. The only ones who are really in the game are Trump, Cruz and Rubio. The others like Christie, Fiorino and the rest are just barely on the radar for me (not that I’m even considering them).
