“the GOPe’s are gonna serve us a steaming hot plate of bubble boy unfortunately”

Sure can’t argue about that! BTW by “bubble boy,” assume you’re talking about the GOPe’s “$hit Sandwich Du Jour!”

Crybaby loserboy.

Who the hell do you think you are?

Donald Trump got cheated in Iowa. Cruz lied about Carson and ran a voter shaming campaign.

Donald Trump is not rolling over, he’s fighting back.

All POS Republicans roll over. Over and over.

In the General, the Democrats are going to:
- Bus in the homeless
- Register ExCons
- Encourage voting more than one
- Encourage MILLIONS of Illegals to vote
- Rig the polling places
- Rig the touch screens

...and you’re telling me a candidate who is unwilling to take it and instead fight to the death to take what’s rightfully his/ours is a bad thing?

I believe they both want to cut regulations, cut spending, cut government, return education to the states, etc, build a powerful military and fight against terrorism and make America great again.

There is only one way to tell what a candidate wants in this regard - which talk of restoring the government to its Constitutionally mandated role?

And Ted was saying nothing about illegal immigration or the border until Trump made it an issue

Ted doesn’t want to stop immigration from Muslim countries

I say we should let the candidates fight it out and not be so eager to trash either one of our leading candidates.

The candidates are leaders. When one (or, say, the other) trashes, it encourages supporters to trash.

Somehow, supporters must resist (yes, we much) the temptation to mimic the trashing at the candidate level.

Indeed, I don't want the leading candidates to trash each other at all. It should be issues debated, and that's ALL.

Personally, I’m all in for the Rebellion no matter who leads it. And I’ve often stated that Cruz is my favorite because of his constitutional conservative stance, but if Trump wins the nomination I’ll enthusiastically support him in the general.

VERY well written editorial! This sums it up for me.

Thank you for setting the exact right tone!

"Crybaby loserboy."

You post this on the thread where Jim admonished all not to bash fellow Freepers?

That's high profile right there...

Like Rush says, I hope Cruz (and Rubio) are learning from Trump's boldness and audacity.

I hope Trump grows up but it's getting late for that.

My take on it is that the establishment will use Cruz to try to take down Trump, then turn on Cruz, who they actually hate more.

After they have demonized Cruz, and pushed Rubio up in the media swarm, they will release negative info on Rubio, leaving Jeb! standing as our only choice.

Then, business as usual. because they really don’t care who wins as long as they can be controlled by the status quo.

Therefor, I am sticking with the loose cannon, who has a chance to attract voters from both sides, but, I do recognize the risk involved.

Trump is not a perfect candidate. The question we have to ask ourselves is - can our preferred “perfect candidate” get elected?

If not, can anything done to clean up the mess we are in?

but who are we to judge what's in a man's heart.

That's why we have to judge what he says and does.
