“Good thing - with that snowstorm due in at midnight last night, he probably would have been stuck in Iowa until tomorrow had he waited until this morning.”

That would either make for a good scene in a movie (Planes, Trains and Automobiles II!). Or perhaps I’m recalling that something similar happened. Where a close race was determined by not being able to travel to some big speech or whatever.

Did he announce the firings of those behind the report card scandal and the lying about Ben Carson?

I didn’t think so. He is a lawyer and anything you can get away with is okay.

As long as he keeps his religion front and center. Kind of interesting isn’t it?

Wow, Cruz must have flown out of Iowa right after the election night speech at his hotel!

Where did Cruz get the clean clothes for the trip? According to Ben Carson, you have to fly to Florida for those.

Yes, Trump has done a few Q&A style meetings.

What happened, I was a gung-ho Cruz supporter, but the more I actually hear speak, something creepy about his persona and disingenuous about his words, I feel like I am being played. And then we find out his campaign was dumping on Carson during the caucus. So who really is this dude? People don’t get all worked up over this guy he doesn’t appear to be presidential material.

You have never been a “gung-ho Cruz supporter”. Do you think we can’t read your prior posts. Why say something that is obviously untrue.

I strongly back Cruz as well. To me, though, his speaking style isn’t “lawyerly” at all, but more Tent Revival Meeting. Sometimes very good...but sometimes over the top.

Content is always good, though.

Hmmmm, I never thought of that analogy....but it does fit for some of his speeches.

A friend of mine says that Cruz talks about "important things", but tries to say too much at one time, and her attention span isn't that long. LOL

To me Cruz comes across with a very fake sincerity and Rubio is another good talker whose record is pathetic. Obama all over again, both of them. What is it with these ineligibles?

Most of us have responsible jobs.

Unlike the Trumpanzees who are either sitting at the union hall cursing their employers for taking their $40/hour screw-turner jobs to Honduras, or pleasuring themselves to reruns of The Apprentice.

For me it isn’t all that new. And it isn’t a smear.

The Canadian and the anchor baby.

I have done a lot of research on this subject and I personally don’t want a Syrian (or some such) to be a future POTUS just because he/she had one parent who at one time was a US citizen.

If you want that then you go ahead and distort the intention of our founding fathers to avoid divided loyalties at our country’s peril. With all the imported muzzies and their reproduction history how long do you think it will be? It wasn’t that hard for them to get what we’ve got now - a child of one American citizen, one foreign Kenyan communist and - something that Cruz can’t say - maybe born on US soil.

Do principles only apply to the other guys? Or, as a test, do they also apply to us?
