This morning I watched as George Stephanopolous, the Clinton war room alum from the 90s, asked her the standard question about her emails and she gave the standard response that avoided the issue: The situation remains the same. There were no emails that were labeled as classified when I received them or sent them”

What any good reporter would have followed up with is a question about whether they were classified by the intel committee and white=washed by her aides to remove classification labels as per the email directing one of the aides to do exactly that. In other words, did the Clinton aides at the State Dept. have a directive to remove classified labeling on emails to Clinton.

Doesn’t it seem strange that a Sec. of State would be arguing that she never received or sent a single email that was supposed to be classified in order to protect the secrets of the U.S. State dept. Not one? That’s another question that needs to be asked.
