I agree with you. And I am a Cruz supporter.
Asking your supporters to talk to your freinds and neighbors to get them to vote for you is one thing, calling them out be name is something else.
I thought that voting was a sacred and private right?
We should never know who if someone voted one way or another, unless they voluntarily give us the information.
I wonder if this information is pubic knowledge?
If so, how or why?

I wonder if this information is pubic knowledge? Let's leave Bill Clinton out of this.

One thing is certain, though. Even if Cruz, my favored candidate, is damaged and becomes a non-factor by the time of the Missouri primary on March 15, there is one candidate I definitely will not be voting for, and that is Donald Trump. KNEEL BEFORE ZOD or be sent to the Phantom Zone.

This was a stupid angle. Who in the Cruz Campaign is working for the GOPee?
This is the same sort of thing as 'leaking' (disclosing) Sarah Palin's clothing budget. Someone is nuking the campaign from within.

Was camp Cruz sabotaged? Need more data - from that Dailey affair - to decide. OTOH, depending how 'narrow' this mailing was, it could be the talk of IA until Monday.I wonder the same thing.
I have seen lots of different angles tried to get out the vote or sway one, but this is something I would think would just pi$$ people off.
If they were going to use the 'we noticed you didn't vote last time' angle, a passionate entreaty, or better yet a warm invitation to return and participate would likely have won some people over.
Either someone is trying to scuttle the campaign from within, or is using seriously questionable judgement.
Did Cruz approve of this or is it the managed brainchild of some operative? (Anyone there who used to work for the Governor?)

Yes, someone is, and I’m positive the 7 staffers leaving the campaign are involved, but the lawyers have sealed this case shut.
I want to know what happened in this sabotage!

Maybe the staffers crapped in the punchbowl on the way out the door, too.

I never had anything against Cruz until this. It’s the age old: if he thought / approved of it, he is an idiot. If he didn’t know about it, he’s an idiot. I’m seriously dismayed.

Shaming alone is just awful. But informing your neighbors of ANYTHING private about you is infuriating! If you just moved in recently, these people are strangers. Often, there are one or more neighbors you don’t appreciate. This is a wholly socially tone deaf move and it shows a complete arrogance, along with unconstitutional intrusive government mindset.
By the way, I’m surprised Drudge isn’t all over this because he despises intrusive government.

The Secretary of State of Iowa has just issued a statement from his office regarding Cruz and his shaming letters and it is not good news for Teddy. He has really shot himself in the foot with this one.

Nobody’s all over this story because there’s a defect in it, and until the real backstory is confirmed, won’t be. It’s driving me crazy. Cruz wouldn’t approve that mailing.

Cruz haterz seem to think it’s worse than the holocaust.
Former 1 term GOP Congressman John “Paleoconspiracytheorist” LeBoutiller and his peeps on Fox News expect a “tsunami” of turnout in Iowa.
Cruz haterz say “Cruz needs low turnout”.

peeples are kookoo on here.
bunch of voters get a junk mail piece ... people who are not going to show up ... the goal is to get 3% to respond and change their mind.
PS Freepers don’t know that their voting history is public information? the voting process is not private, it is a public matter.

I am perhaps the most loyal Ted Cruz supporter at Free Republic ...
I am an official Florida campaigner for Ted Cruz in Florida ...
and this VOTER SHAME FLYER is FREAKING INSULTING and STUPID beyond imagination !!!
Without a doubt, Ted Cruz signed-off on the decision to do this ...
and if Ted Cruz has one-half a brain HE WOULD APOLOGIZE ... tonight.
Unfortunately, I have received fund-raising e-mail solicitations from Ted Cruz with the same shaming philosophy ...
and I DELETED every damn one of them.
Talk about snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory !!!!
.

Lol, yeah I caught that right after I hit send.
